Am I the only one who never worries about them dying, and enjoys not having to charge em all the time? :D I dealt with that enough on my 808's, and was one of the biggest selling points on the eGo

I guess my main issue with ANY of the advanced charging features/products on these eGos... Whats the point? These batteries last SO FRIGIN LONG. I bought one extra USB fast charger with my dual kit (just standard 650mah batts by the way) - I use both of them in tandem throughout the day. Most days, neither of them die, period. I plug both in at night, to recharge while I sleep, and I'm good. Only twice, has one of the two actually stopped working for me (at which point I still had the other going strong - and by that point it was so late, I was just about to crash anyway).

Even the USB charger version ... its cool and all I guess... But if they're both charged from the night before, I know I'm good. Last thing I want to do is plug it in to my computer and have to deal with a cord all day - just to prevent it from dying, which I know isn't going to happen anyway.

The way I see it - if the manufacturer wants to sell a bunch of charging-related extras, they shouldn't have made the batteries so freaking kick-... to begin with. heheheh just my $0.02

I would actually kinda agree with you about the PCC. That's why I wanted to know if there was even a market for this... I have talked to Rob and i believe he fells the same way. As I said in the video, maybe would be good for people who travel a lot. But yeah, I tend to agree with you on that point...

As for the USB eGo, I love it. You also gotta think about people who don't have an eGo kit. For what, $30 or so, you can get the USB ego and be set to go. If you are at a computer a lot, you have the option to charge it while you vape, which would be impossible if you only bought 1 eGo battery on its own and a regular charger. So I could definitely see why the USB eGo would be a good fit. It's another option for someone who may not have the money for a full eGo kit. They can buy this and still have the eGo experience at a fraction of the price...

The only plus i see out of the PCC is that if you have 3 batts, you could go about 3 days +/- without a power source.
So that is cool, but that is all I see.

May serve a purpose for some, but for people that have a power source, it is kinda pointless

edit:

It could also serve as a backup power source.
perhaps the glovebox or if the power goes out!!!!!!!!!!

geez, didnt think of that until now.

Well heck. I didn't think of that either. We had that terrible windstorm a few years back here in Ohio. Our power was out for 6 days. Definitely would have come in handy then!

As a matter of fact. Weird to think about. But if we were to lose power for a substantial amount of time, us vapors would be in bad shape, lol!

Nice review K,

I wouldnt use onem but they would be nice for certain people and like you said, I think it does need lights to tell you when the batt is finished charging..

Thanks doots. Yeah, the light, or lack thereof, is a big issue and I would want that addressed before I purchased one of these...

you know, this is the first time i've thought about the whole "what if the power goes out?" scenario, astonishing consider i live in South Florida and it seems like every year or two we get a hurricane that knocks out power for days on end. great. now i'm gonna have to buy a generator, or like 3-4 PCC's. you get used to living without power after a day or two and so many storms, room temperature Chef Boyardee actually starts tasting pretty good. but the e-cig thing adds a whole 'nother level to it now.

So they might sell like gangbusters with the apocalyptic survivalist crowd. They could recharge their PCC with a car-charger-USB adapter, as they're driving over all the bodies of the unprepared, then they're good for 3 days of walking after they run out of gas! (at least till they find another car, rinse, repeat!)

I'm gonna go with a pass on this one.

When the zombie apocalypse comes I'm sure to go pretty quick, so I'm ok with that.

Wait, y'all ARE talking zombies, right? Because if it's the other apocalypse.. I can tell you right now I won't even have a last hit off of my eGo, just POOF, gone!

I don't know where I stand with the whole 2012 Mayan calendar apocalypse. On the one hand, I make a mean margarita and have mastered tamales. On the other, if it's a global freeze type thing.. I don't handle cold well. That's a tough one.

It definitely looks promising, as far as eGo PCC's go. My g/f and I have been looking for some kind of sleek hard case, so she could throw her PVs into her purse, and not worry about the PV's triggering(I'm talking 100% confidence in not triggering due to a soft design), while looking good. This is as close to one, as I have seen, and after a few months of looking, I can tell, just from the video, that this would be the best eGo PCC on the market if it came out.

Now, like some have said, is there enough demand for PCC's on such a long lasting battery? That's where some of the small design flaws come in.

In addition to knowing when the batteries are charged, I personally think all PCCs should be able to hold 1 battery, 1 fully assembled eGo, a spare atty/tip and 1 30ml bottle. Holding 3 PVs is a bit redundant. But like I said, I can tell you from my time searching, this looks like it would best eGo PCC, design-wise as is.

True about what it should hold. You can get some juice bottles in there, but they would have to be small and skinny bottles. Ive tried to get a 10ml in there, and there is no way...

But all those interested, stay tuned to my channel. Rob is giving his away and I am giving mine away that I used in the review... that is if you answer my question correctly :) I am actually doing one random winner and one that will get mine if they answer the question correctly... But anywho... the video is being uploaded right now, so stay tuned. I will make a thread when it is ready...
