Kamry k100 turning pink on the bottom?

Is there any way to stop this from happening? Or do I just need to keep buying a new k100 every few months? I've searched on replacement parts but haven't found anything as of yet. Thanks.

Not sure I understand...the chrome is wearing off my button, so copper (under-layer of chrome surface) shows through...is that what you mean?

yup, with normal wear and tear, and the occasional drop, the chrome will wear and chip. You can either live with it, sand all the chrome off to the brass, or buy a new mod every time you scratch it...you can send the old ones to me
