Don't know for certain, but from this Ebay listing:

"Will this clone tank work with Kanger Coil Heads? (A.) I have done some preliminary testing with (3) different Kanger Coil Heads. I have taken about 30 puffs from each of coils. The unit works fine and does not seem to leak with Kanger Coils. The Kanger Coils post that goes into the center hole of the tank is longer than the Kamry Coils but does not seem to effect performance."

Funny how you can find ecig stuff on eBay -- which is part of PayPal and has PayPal as their preferred payment -- but PayPal won't process ecig transactions.

That is an interesting point. I wonder how Fasttech gets away with it then.

I have ordered this clone and will update when I receive it.

Anybody know if the kamry protank clone will accept evod / kanger protank heads?
I'm interested because these don't have the venting on the base.

Don't let the Venting on the bottom fool you. The airy draw is NOT from those grooves. They were included so the Protank will work on FLAT TOP Mods. The airy draw comes from having 3 air holes in the 510 shaft. Plugging one or two, to preference, will tighten draw. Same as with T3's.

PayPal's no e-cig policy does not include sellers from foreign countries, many of whom have no other way of conducting business with US consumers.

I received them yesterday, and tried today. It seems to be working well. Differences I could notice on the first look:
- 510 threading has only one hole compared to the three on the Protank head.
- Material seems like glass, I don't think it is plastic
- There seems to be some sort of threading that the metal parts are attached to the glass part, and it seems to be well made.
- I think it has larger capacity than Protank (not measured though)

Overall, very happy so far. Vapes well, tighter draw and no issues so far (first fill).

X9 Protank Clearomizer with ABS Tank (2.5mL) From the ad.

Indeed, apparently they changed the product title from Pyrex to ABS.

I was wrong, mine is not glass :). From the heft of it and the 'acoustics' I tricked myself to believe it was indeed Pyrex. What is the easiest way to know (other than breaking?). I just slid my cutting knife over it and I could make a dent. Anyhow, I do not mind as I do not use the hyperactive juices.

I measured the capacity to be around 4.5 ml. (Thanks to thinner ABS walls).

Hey crxess, you say the holes are one the shaft. What do you plug those up with?

Plumbers tape, then just open up two of the holes instead of the three. It doesn't look that nice but it's effective. I suppose you can try to stick a cocktail stick in one of them and break it off, but as it has to thread correctly, this might not work that well (like it does on the T3/MT3)
