Just watched another ProTank video and it is definitely 510 threaded and it comes with an EGO adapter in the box.
The ego adapter is just cosmetic to give it a "finished" look when put on an ego style battery. While it's not needed for using on ego's, it's nice that they included it.

Since last spring, I’ve been carrying my PVs in my shirt pocket with a pocket clip. I’m interested in the Pro, but the clips I use with my T3s and Evod are too small. Does anyone have a line on pocket clips that are big enough for the Pro?

I know they make them big enough for some magic markers :?: maybe your local office supply ?

My old cigar case works pretty well, but leather doesn't do well with a leaky-dump. We need some pocket protectors from back in the 50's.
Now the pocket protectors I know they sell at staples cuz I've seen them. I thought you were talking about the metal piece that slides around the ecig itself like the ball point pens have. I misunderstood you  I sorrys

You understood right Mama. I use the LD01 pocket clip from Fenix for my T3s and Evods, but they're not big enough for the Pro. I guess I'll contact them and ask if they have any larger diameter clips after I find out the outside diameter of the Pro.

Ok... this is not by any means accurate but it is a place to help begin your look and then when the ProTank is finally released... you will have had time to research different sizes and then can get the one that best fits...

First... if we are taking numbers to bet on... my bet is 22mm... :D

But more seriously... The battery that the vid showed appeared to be an esmart which is a little smaller than a regular eGo which is 14mm in diameter. It appears that the size of the ProTank is going to be close to one about the size of a 18xxx size mod... That would place it in the 20mm-24mm or there abouts... I'd also say that an IGO-L dripping atty is about 18mm and would appear to also be in the same size range that the vid shows...

That should be range to look in for now until something more substantial is given to us to go by.

All I know is I want that thing... It just looks too cool, and it's glass - I'm *so* there. Now that I'm on more friendly terms with BCs (though not quite - they are spitting on me for some reason now), I am totally excited about it. But, yes, I wish they had a removable drip tip. I'm slowly but surely collecting glass drip tips, and they are looking for tanks. Besides, I swear I get a metal aftertaste from the steel ones... Flavor fanatic breaking though again...

"I agree with you..rebuilding should be simple. I was hoping PB would see if any issues arose with using eVod heads on the ProTank, but he left that out..

According to a Sun-Vapors video (I don't have the link handy), the eVod heads work just fine in the Protank. The rubber gasket around the eVod head is slightly thicker, though, causing the airflow to be greatly restricted. The suggestion work-around in that case is to shave down the sides of the eVod gasket with a scalpel and it should work just fine. I'll post the link to the video explaining that process and more if I happen to find it again.

Any updates on when this will be available? I know it will be soon, but how soon?

Yeah, like we wanted it yesterday..

I want one just to put Pluid in....

Ya know I was just thinking, totally off topic of this thread. China is coming out with the "Corolla" soon. We already have the "eVic & CVI"

Why not do a hybrid of the last two, and call it the "Civic" ??

Too late for me now... I just ordered 6 more NET e-juices to try out, not to mention just slipping in under the wire for a Raven and a couple of the Alpha Vision States Express ( for others to try out )

And when you get that shiny new 1/4" wick atty figured out you can introduce the hybrid pourius....For use with "pourius" ceramic wicks...

EDIT: On second thought, those prius cars are kinda whimpy. I'll just call mine the "cummins" when you get it built.

Working on that for sure......you know that "AC9" clone is looking very promising for that !!
