Kanger 0.8ohm BDCs v2 not wicking

I ordered a couple packs of these 0.8ohm Kanger coils that are supposed to be compatible with several of their tanks, including the Aerotank Mega, which is what I'm trying them. I've tried installing them just as I do the 1.8ohm coils, I've tried tightening, loosening, I'm priming them with quite a few pulls before firing, on one I even soaked the thing in liquid before screwing it to the base. And I've tried everything from 15watts to 22watts. With all three, I'll get 1-3 hits, and then BAM nothing but dry, burning hit. No flavor whatsoever. I simply cannot get them to wick properly... Does anyone have any ideas???
