Kanger Battery: button light won't shut off!!

Hello all!

I need some help. I own a Kanger EVOD USB battery, so far I have not had any problems with it whatsoever. Fired up well, gave smooth hits, usage time was lasting adequately, etc. etc.

However, this morning I went to take a hit with it and the button light never shut off (the button used to power on/off/fire tank). Now no mater how many times I press the button, or hold it down, the light will not shut off and it will not fire at all. I tried plugging it into both kinds of chargers (one on end made so you can use while charging, and screw-on charger) and nothing has worked. Also, the button is not stuck down, as it can still be pressed like normal.

I have included a picture of the battery to help with any confusion from my long explanation; you can see the light is glowing

If anyone has had this problem before, or has any ideas on how to solve please let me know!

My friend had the same problem with his itaste clik. We tried everything to fix the problem and just ended up taking it back and warrantying it.

Well guys, I took it into the shop and they explained to me what was wrong. Sometimes your battery will need to be "reset" by charging it with a screw-in type charger. I had only charged it with the plug in for the end, however they used their own gadgets to reset it for me. But to do it on your own all you need to do is charge for a while with a screw-in type charger. (the charger that the tank end screws into in case you needed me to clarify). Hope it helps anyone with the same problem!!

I'm glad you found a fix for yours.

I had another type that would to the same thing. I found that on mine, I had to clean out the 510 well really good. Seems some juice or debris was getting down between the positive post and the side wall (negative) and shorting it out. I guess perhaps the gasket down in there was kinda worn out. It worked for awhile, then finally gave up the ghost...or I got tired of messing with it.
