Hey guys so I was at my local shop today and planning on getting the protank 2 but they talked me into getting an EMOW instead and I don't know what to think of it. I'm not used to dual coil tanks (been using mini protank 2 for a while) and it seems like this is a lot hotter of a vape using the same liquid. Could this be from the airflow being up to much or the fact I'm not used to dual coils? All suggestions and tips are appreciated!

Could just be that you're not used to dual coils. In a lot of circumstances a dual coil will give a hotter vape, so maybe that's what you're experiencing

I hope that's it it seems to be easing off some and also sorry about that I thought I had put it in that section!

I would consider the Aspire Nautilus. Like the EMOW, it will have a different (dual coil) coil that your Protank, but is a definite step up. I saw it because of all the others that like the Nautilus, and that the EMOW does get much discussion here.

imho

Well I just didn't like the idea of almost 30 for
The nautilus haha

My wife has an EMOW Mega. Seems just to be a better looking (to me) Genitank. I have two of those. The flavor and vape on the tank with stock heads does way better when you close off some of the airholes. I run with three open, flavor is pretty good at that point. I rebuild our heads with rayon and 28ga (me) 30ga (hers). I find I do really prefer the rebuilt coils, since you can build them to your preferences and tailor your airflow. Like I said, if you're not satisfied with the vape, close down the airflow a bit and produce less vapor with more flavor. Hope that helps.

FWIW, all of the stock coils I've metered come out between 1.8-2.0 for 1.8 rated coils.

Yep. The emow will give you a much warmer vape. The drip tip on them can even get hot enough to cause discomfort too. I usually keep 4 holes open on mine, I find the increased airflow helps with the heat. All in all I absolutely love mine, I have two mega ones. But I also have two protank 2's. Because some juices just taste better on a system that gives you a cooler vape. But I admit it is a process getting used to a dual coil so you just have to give it some time. I didn't know what to think when I got my first evod2 months ago but now there are days where I only use the emow's and don't touch the protanks.

I have two emow tanks and i like them enough. I do find it runs warm if I don't put it down for a bit. I've noticed the vapor feels a lot cooler if I use a plastic drip tip, and have also found the flavor to be nicer. I use wide bore delrin tips on mine and like it a whole lot better than with the stock metal tips. I also started using the 1.8ohm coils, which help keep the vapor cooler. I don't think the kanger dual coils do well at higher voltages, so I keep them between 3 and 4.5 volts. Any time I've gone higher than that I've ended up burning the flavor.
