Kanger evod 2 New heads

So I recently purchased a pack of the new enclosed wick dual coil heads for the kanger evod 2. The issue I'm having is dry hits. tried different juice, letting it soak overnight, primed it with a few drops of juice, dry pulls nothings working.

How many of them have you tried?

I got them 8 days ago. Just put the last one in. I may have just gotten a bad batch. The first one wasn't bad but I think I had the volts to high and it fried it. Since then constant dry hits

I just about always use EVODSs, (with an MVP), the EVOD1 I believe, so I can't comment on the the EVOD2. But with the EVOD1, I never have any burnt taste at all. Then again, I do build my own coils.

I have noticed that the packaged coils can have a burnt taste, and that the problem is down to the wick. With any new packaged coil, the first thing I do is change the wick for one of my own. It makes a far better vape and eliminates any potential burnt taste. Even though I don't know about the dual coil EVOD, you could try changing the wicks.

Yes, I believe the issue is the wicks. I'm about to upgrade my setup to the MVP v2 and a Kayfun mini.

Ok so I put in another head and so far so good. I have 1.5ohm dual coils, what voltage do you guys run 1.5ohm dual coil kanger heads at?

I have one in an aerotank mini set to 4v right now. I have run them from 3.5-5 although I just did 5 as a test to see if it could handle it which it did.

Thanks for the reply, I run mine around 3.6-3.7. My liquid burns around 3.9-4.0

Hmm, just some Evod 2 Glass with 1.5 dual coils, been running it at 4.3v on my Vision Spinner 1300mah without any issues for the past couple of days.
