Kanger EVOD base gets super ho!

Ive tried searching but the search is very erratic. Ive had my kanger evod for bout 3 weeks now. Ive replaced the atty 3 times but im still getting a super hot almost burning base where it threads onto the ego battery. What could be the problem? I vape quite a bit and Im worried

If you chain smoke, yes the base will get hot on the EVOD. I noticed that. Never had a problem with it though. I say just pace your self. By the way, don't waste attys like that, those attys last a long time on the EVOD. If you want you can wash them, and keep a rotation going.

Define washing them...Ive placed them in a cup of boiling water and let dry overnight and it seems to screw up the flavor and vapor... Gonna start rebuilding them if cleaning wont help

What I meant to say was rinse the atty. I rinse them with hot water and have them dry out. Never had a problem with the flavor.

Just curios what's the PG/VG ratio in your juice?

If I chain-vape with big, long draws my Evods get pretty hot too...just set 'em down and they'll cool off after 30 seconds or a minute, or keep two Egos and switch between them...

You should be fine with that ratio. Try this, vape with one atty, when you refill, use another atty. then rinse the used one and place to dry. Keep rotating. As the poster stated above, if you want to chain vape then have 2 EVODs and switch between them. I have done that also.

I love vaping too much lol. Im out vaping the hardware. The problem is that im having to pull for 7 to 9 seconds before I get that feeling. I dont know what to do to shorten it

ya, mine get hot also. you should see how hot my ProTank gets on my Legacy mech mod. no ten second cut-off!!! i love chain vaping!
