to ecf TexasRebel . Nice to meet you and so glad you are here. Is it a popping sound or a gurgling sound? This is sort of like going to get your car fixed and describing the sounds. I know when I used evod's (which I loved) they would make sounds and I found that when I was refilling with juice if I would put a napkin over the mouth piece and give it a couple of good hard shakes like you do with an old time thermometer, and then put it on the battery. This got rid of the weird sounds for me. I hope you understand what I am recommending. Sort of hard to explain. Like sounds.
Good luck to you and I look forward to reading more about you and I hope this problem is resolved. Have fun.
I get this because it happens so often with my EVOD - the atty chamber gets flooded.
Kind of like a flooded combustion chamber when the fuel is not getting burned as quickly as the fuel input.
The net experience is the juice gets sucked into the mouthpiece instead of just the vapour.
I find that getting a good "vacuum" helps.
When the refill level is at optimum (just below the silicon doughnut) and the battery is fully charged, this happens a lot less with that load.
When the wicks are "over saturated", the coil just does not put out enough heat to vaporized, the juice flows into the process and the "vacuum" is lost.
I usually service the coil at each refill.
- remove the flavour wicks and press them between Kleenex
- gently dab a piece of Kleenex to remove excess juice on the coil and wick.
- dry burn the coil by pulsing the battery a couple of times until I get a bright burn.
- return the dry flavour wicks into the coil chamber.
Then insert this into the clearomizer as usual.
Anyways, hope this helps the OP. After all, words do often get in the way
(edit- PS. of course, removing the chimney from the coil assembly is required before the above steps can be done). I will check the links that was shared by a couple of really helpful veterans and post here.
