Kanger EVOD Threading

I just bought a second EVOD but this one wont screw all the way down onto the battery, Thinking it might be the head i put a new head in, but it was still the same so i put the old head in my old EVOD and it screws on fine, i think the bottom part of my evod must not have a deep enough threading. Has anyone else had this problem before?

Does it still fire and produce good vapor? If so I really wouldn't worry about it. Other than it looking like it might fall off.

Maybe a QC issue or overtightening the heads. Try installing the base (without head) to the Ego first to see if that eliminates the gap. If it does, just screw on the head to make contact and check for leaks. If not, then it's a QC issue and should contact the vender for a replacement/refund.

Hopefully this has been corrected.
Earlier release Evod had a mixed run of Bad Bases. Threading was NOT deep enough. You may be able to purchase a replacement base or if it is NEW contact your vender for DEFECT exchange.

I have had that happen but it fired OK so I let it go.

ARe you using EVOD coils or maybe you got a protank coil?

My eVOD has a gape too but vapes great so I just go with it.

None of my Evod clearos screw down "flush", especially on a Spinner battery. As long as it fires, it's cool.

I've found a lot of manufacturing tolerances in replacement heads, if you rebuild then take a file to the base of the threads on the head when you rebuild it. that will take care of the fitment issue.
