Be cautious of any Kanger product with an airflow control valve (AFC). I have 2 of the AFC ver 2 that I purchased in the last few weeks. One was to add to my ProTank2 mini the other is a new Aerotank mini with the included AFC. They are so tight adjusting with fingers is impossible. Have to use pliers.

After the fiasco with the AFC ver.2 I thought of getting a Genitank mini which has the AFC ver.3. The first 2 youtube videos I watched mentioned the tight AFC.

I was thinking of tearing the first AFC apart to see what is happening on the inside. That was until I realized the Aspire clearomizers (plastic or glass) with the bottom vertical coil (BVC) have significantly better taste than the Kangers. I have the Aspire K1 and CE5 minis which have great taste. It varies some from eliquid to eliquid. The BVC brings out the taste of each ingredient in the juice whereas the taste is kind of muddled with the Kangers. The Aspire Nautilus mini with the AFC, that does not require handyman tools to function properly, is everything the reviewers are saying. With the ability to make AFC adjustments on the go the clearness of flavors is just below the rebuildables.

Cinnamon roll in the Aspire CE5 mini is sooooo good! Licorice is so rich it is almost too strong. I'll take that "problem" as it is easily adjusted by taking smaller hits, adding some vg or lowering the nic. The K1 is perfect for Butterscotch. Had to give the ol' taste buds a rest before determining which Aspire BVC clearo brings out the best for each of the more complex flavors. One negative. When vaping the cinnamon roll it sounds like a lung machine. I will increase the size of the air holes to see if it makes a difference. If not, a Nautilus mini with fully functioning AFC will be dedicated to cinnamon roll use. (Trying to use the least expensive BVC clearos first.)

If I were in the market for a ProTank 2 I would not hesitate to buy online. For any Kanger with AFC only buy from a B&M where you can handle it before purchase or online with a 100%, no questions asked guarantee.

I was gonna get either a couple genitanks are they any good..or should i get the aero or emow .

I have heard good things about the GeniTanks. The new style airflow is sweet, it is the same as on my Giant. Personally, I like the V1 and the V3 airflow valves. The V1 can get stuck which is a pain when it happens but on my VTR it makes for a one hand adjustment and stays put. The V2's can move around when you don't want them to.
From what I hear, the loose fitting V2's are most likely clones. The tight turning ones will loosen up with time. You should NEVER need to take pliers etc. to your clearo's. heh, and I have done it Simply use a wide rubber band for getting a good grip. This works for separation of parts and a tight type 2 AFV.

Boils down to what you are willing to pay, I choose stainless, AeroTank.

This is a nice tank.
I was looking locally for air flow control for the two protank 2 that I have but nothing so I picked the genitank up to try. Big difference. The ring is firm but moveable. Won't move on it's own when handling it. I hope it stays that way. This is my new daily driver.

I now have 4 of these, 2 regular and 2 mega. I have a few other tanks but keep going back to these!

Yeah I can't compare them with any others as we have only been into vaping for about 2 months now and that is what we started with and have had no reason to be out looking for something better.
Though that is not to say we will not look at others in the future as we most certainly will at some time.....but for now we are happy!!

I was just looking at one of the Genitank minis but seriously.....what the hell is the difference between the genitank, aerotank, and protank beyond the air flow control valve? i like the minis so im pretty much thinking grabbing one of the many mini protank IIIs that are on sale for $10 or less just about everywhere and slapping on the V3 ACV and i have myself a geni for $5 cheaper or a V2 ACV and I have a aerotank mini for $10 cheaper. Is there something else I'm just not seeing?
