Hi Guys. This is my first post here. I have to edit myself to keep this from becoming quite a sappy love letter to this forum and to vaping itself. Suffice it to say, this forum was instrumental in helping me make a satisfying first purchase and I thank you. I have been smoke free since April 8th and I literally stopped overnight. This is after smoking for 23 years. As far as vaping goes, I feel like I have really stepped into the future. Now all I need is my jet pack.

Now, my question: I would like to order some replacement heads for my Kanger Evod. My Evod is a 3.7 v, 650 mah and came with 2.5 ohm heads. I see that there are different ohm levels available. What is the difference? If I purchase a different ohm will my device still work? If so, how will it affect my vape?

Thanks!

Agreed, 1.8-2.2 is a nice warm vape. Not over powering but not muddied/cool. It will make the battery power down a little sooner. Maybe 10-15% but will not harm the battery.
Always best to have a backup battery anyway.(miscalculation/forgot to charge/etc,)

I only use higher ohm coils on my APV's now, where I can adjust power for the difference.

Thanks crxess. My starter kit came with two Kanger Evod batteries, thank goodness. Don't know where I would be without that second battery. I hope to experiment with variable power settings sometime in the future. A warm vape sounds nice, I think I am going to go with 2.2. They are several dollars cheaper than the 2.5 which is an added bonus.
