I got myself a couple MT3S' because well, I love my evods and they're just an oversized version essentially. Problem is, the other day I wasn't getting any vapor and the tank was still half full, so I took er apart and the little rubber thing that slides over the post on the coil (grommet i think? I'm not a ....ing engineer lol) had tripled in size and gotten stuck in the tank. I got it out of course, changed coils, and lo and behold, this one is growing in size too. So much so that it doesn't want to stay in place. I've gone through 3 new coils, on two different tanks and the stock coil that came with the second tank. And while they haven't gotten as big as the one that's stuck I have to say it's rather annoying, and if it's melting or something that can't be good to inhale plus the tanks flood if that thingy isn't where it should be. So... What's going on here? I really like these guys and no local shop sells them so they aren't as easy to replace as the regular little evods. And while you'd need a microscope to tell the difference between an evod coil and an T3S coil, they aren't the same. I've never seen an evod do this. And I've used those for months now.

Oh and if i put this in the wrong place I apologize and feel free to move it where it's supposed to go.

Same juices I use in all my other tanks. And these actually haven't been cleaned except with warm water yet.
I knew it was only a matter of time before I had a problem that nobody else on earth has had lol.

It's almost got to be a box of funky coils though I'm thinking. I took one off an evod coil that's been plowing along strong for a month and never expanded at all. And it's gotten bigger too now. It's the weirdest ....ing thing I've ever seen.

Shot in the dark. The grommet may actually be bigger than the grommet on the evod grommet. I have quite a few of kanger heads and I noticed that the dual coil heads have bigger grommets. Maybe the factory ran out of the smaller grommets, or maybe they're all using the bigger grommets now?

Btw, the coil/head that you have is definitely not dual coil as it wouldn't fit into the t3s. You can screw the head in, but it would protrude too much to screw into the tank. Just to clarify in case you think that they gave you dual coil heads by mistake.

Edit : reread your post several times, and I'm also flabbergasted. What I wrote above probably does not apply.

Then you should contact Kangertech--if your coils are original Kanger (came in a box with a scratch code), go to their website and open a ticket.

This is the weirdest story I've ever heard here--and I've heard a lot of stories in my 5 years with ECF. :)
