Yesterday, I received a Kanger MT3S to use on my ego-c battery. I'm quite disappointed by it, but maybe I am doing something wrong?
- The draw is VERY airy.
- Flavors seem faded, for lack of a better word, when compared to the stock ego-c cartomizer.
- My throat feels a bit sore, which I did not encounter with the stock cartomizer.

Is there something particular I should be aware of to make it work better? Maybe I'm not doing it correctly?

On a side note, I am suspecting that I may not have received an original Kanger. I received it in a sealed plastic blister, without a note or anything. Is this normal for Kanger clearos?

Thanks for your help!

Try covering one or more of the holes in the base of the MT with a finger while you vape. That will restrict the airflow. Once you find the draw you like, you can make that permanent with a round toothpick, or a dab of clear glue, nail polish, or whatever.

Too much air flow can "dilute" the vape, and make it less robust, so no, probably not doing anything wrong :)

My T3S (same as the MT, but without the metal jacket) units all have Kanger etched into the bases. My earlier T3 and MT3 do not. If you got them from a reputable vendor, and they were listed as Kanger, they likely are. But, if they work for you, that may not be a big deal.

Your throat issue may be due to just vaping too much, since, with "faded" flavor, you may be chain vaping? Or maybe just too high a voltage?

Tried covering a hole, it seems to do the trick. I found that by blocking part of the mouthpiece with my lips, I can get the draw I like. And you're right, I was kinda chain-vaping, so that's gone too. I left the ego-c battery at the default voltage so it's not that I think.

Thanks! :)
