Wow, its nice to see im helping out. Even if it was just one person!
Give it a go, and always feedback is always helpful guys/girls :)

Yes, nice post & nice fix. I'm curious, is it possible to get the base/skirt from the mini Protank without ordering the tank?
Just wondering.

Anything that helps is a plus.
Thanks for sharing your solution.

I'd like to find the actual cause and see what is creating the loss but My protank is working well. Have a PT2 and PT2-mini on order so will be mindful. :)

Ahh yes i believe i stated "my cause" of course everything is situational, based on your device and all. I stated i think i chewed threw a thread replacing a head, causing the head to sit "one thread lower" blocking the air way... but aside from that im aware certain devices arent receiving airflow, this should help. But yeah the PT-2(mini) has the current base im using so you shouldnt have any issues! Great tank tho

Now you have me curious. How can chewing through a thread do anything. The coils all have a flat flange and o-ring seat.
Did this happen when you replaced the original coil?
Did you check to be sure your Tank was NOT screwing down to far and blocking the 3 air holes on the Base? This is one problem we see all the time on certain devices.
Using the Ego type base brings the air holes to the outside of the 510 connector and opens the whole area for air flow.

An easy tell is to Draw on the Protank with it off the Device. If it has flow, the problem is in connection.

Here is my evalutation of the things you stated. Chewing through a thread was just a thought. It did happen when i changed the original head, BUT I used the second head included in the original box. In the video I believe I stated the problem was in the 510 connection, which is why i switched over to the Ego base. As far as screwing it down to far, here is what i've tried. Drawing on the PT-2 without a battery ( works ) screwing down just ONE thread (fail) two threads, three threads all follow the same....all the way down to fully screwed on. Thats what leads me it maybe had something to do with the head chewing through a thread in the base. =/ All I know is this was a cheap fix, and I havent had a single Issue thus far. I'm happy :)

*edit - just to mention I used multiple other heads so this deemed the BASE the issue. If the base worked for 5 days and then all of a sudden stopped working properly, brings me back to the head chewing through the base.
