The aspire 5ml tank should be out this month sometime. Its gonna run around 12 bucks. They will have it in Hollowed and Glass. I wouldn't buy that 20 dollar extender. its too expensive for what it is.

I personally run the Kanger Subtank on a SMOK Xpro M50. .5 coil I run at 20-25 watts and the 1.2 coil I run around 16-20 watts.
How do you like the M50? I saw them, just haven't looked up any reviews, and prefer to ask users instead of trying to make sure reviews aren't made up by the seller.

All this makes me think that Aspire and Kanger have solved the hybrid wire junction failures that made me swear off factory built coils. As long as they use rubber and silicone sleeves for contact pressure, there will be a need for hybrid wires to prevent sleeve burning. The only way to make them last, IMO, is through wire welding, not silver soldering. That, or screw down end points.

Before someone got the Eigate Atlantis, I'd ask them to skim through this thread as fiberglass inhalation is no joke. While they've said they will move to cotton coils like the Kanger, they haven't given an ETA:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ficial-statement-atlantis-coils-material.html

The Kanger seems like the safer bet right now, with the reviews being about the same, and it can also double as a really solid RDA if you want to build your own coils. The insulator is a cheaper plastic like in many RDAs instead of delrin/peek ((at it's price point it should be delrin), but as covered in the below thread that guy wasn't using normal eliquid and pluid will melt your o-rings and even delrin drip tips:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...40420-so-have-aspire-kanger-dropped-ball.html

That said, the subtank is pretty damn huge and it's going to look wonky on a lot of the smaller mods.

I actually like it. Its solid, feels good in my hand and very sleek. My Kanger Subtank sits very good on it even at 25mm diameter and its just slightly bigger than my iStick 20w. Performance is great. Unfortunately no variable voltage only Variable Wattage and does have a Mech mode where it determines the perfect voltage to fire at given the atomizer read and battery power.

Can't go wrong with it. Quality mod.

Aspire Atlantis user here! So far, I'm enjoying the flavor. Just got it a few days ago, I wonder how long the atomizer will last.
I got my first one on Christmas and just starting to notice slight flavor degridation and dry hits every so often at 30 watts, which shows the wicking material is wearing out. Although it might be my second tank I am noticing this in, since I use that one more because it has Nicoticket in it.

Does the aspire hold enough juce to last very long say half the day or so?

YMMV...depends on how much you vape...it is easy enough to fill.

I have an aspire and will probably pick up a Kangar out of curiosity (and so that I can answer these questions ;))...I still prefer true RTAs to Pre-packaged Clearo coils but hey they sure are easy!

The KST looks easy enough to rebuild....don't forget to use your ohm reader or you may end up disappointed with the re-build..or worse...with the wrong battery capacity..unsafe.

In case you are interested for your viewing pleasure...

ETA: Seems like Phil is borderline giddy about the KST...LOL...btw I do own a Flask like the one he is using the KST is LARGE,,,

Thanks for the info how long ya been getting out of a coil?

Hey Hotrod!
Ya know, that's a good question. I really have no idea. I tend to change flavors around alot and I just toss the coils more then I need. I haven't run the same coil long enough to say.

The coil I have in the Atlantis tank that I'm smoking now has likely been in there the longest - maybe around 3 weeks? But, I have only smoked 25 or 40ml's of liquid on this particular coil. Their a heck of a lot more durable then the Nautilus bvc's for certain. I am smoking it right now to check it, and it still tastes brand new.

It's definitely a juice drinker for sure!
