Are you using a provari? Many people report issues with BCCs and the provari from what I've read. One thing you can do, regardless of your setup, is get an airflow controller. This will allow you to set the airflow to your liking via an adjustment.
You may be screwing it on too tightly, I use them on my Provari, have to just barely get them snug so they make good contact but wobble just a tiny bit, then you get that light, airy draw protanks are known for and, that sends some after the controller to tame.
BlueMoods is pretty much right on the money with that one.
But I also seem to notice that if you're using the beauty ring that it comes with on certain mods it also really makes hard to draw from it,and gives little to no vapor. That's what happens a lot with my Spinner.

This!! Just got my protank today and I tightened it down fairly snug and it was a little hard to draw. Once I read this and loosen it up some it became easier to draw.
I am used to my drip tank with bored out ports. Anyway to mod the protank to make it even easier to draw? Lol
