Theres 12 bucks down the drain. I guess he figures no one will unravel the thing and measure it out.
I keep a big wide rubber band around my spool, it covers all the wire on the spool, so I never see the wire that's actually inside it. I never have taken the rubber band off to see how much was left on the spool .. until you posted about it today LOL. When I took my rubber band off I saw that my spool only has a little bit left on it. I just placed an Ebay order with the "other" guy.
Let us know when you get it. I planned on having enough for years.
Uh oh. Checked my eBay history .... Purchased 3/9 100' 32ga A1 ...... Yup, has tank in his name. You're unfortunately right, your 250' of wire will last for a few months.

Ok, I'll out him out here, there's at least 3 of us he's sold spools that had nowhere near the claimed length. His eBay name is tankecigs, he's ripping folks off, buy from another.

Very rough math and guesstimates puts me rebuilding 2 heads a week (for both wife and me), I use maybe 5" a head, that should be very roughly 6' of use. I have another 6' on the spool. My so called 100' spool was actually 12 feet.
True, true. Mine was less than $9 including shipping. Almost $1 a foot! Also wonder if its truly A1 grade.
There was an industrial website, recommended by a few others on some thread in the forum, that carries tons of wire I was looking at few days ago, was shopping for some 28 guage. I'll share the link later .... The pc where it's bookmarked is doing a backup now.
Order your wire from TEMCo Industrial Power Supply that's where I got mine. Pretty sure I got 100' on my rolls. Some of their stuff includes free shipping, and they have flat ribbon kanthal (got some coming on a pre-order).

So mad, I just bought another 100ft spool of kanthal from temco and now I just found out they are releasing ribbon kanthol wire soon... Supposedly that's the future of Kanthol wire for rebuildables
