I am interested in ordering one of these, but I would like to know if this is the revised version or the first version that people were reporting problems with...

I don't think anyone knows. I have not seen any reports of leaking on the latest shipments.

I think it's a great design. Looks fantastic. I don't like the draw, way too airy for my taste. Putting it on my Vamo or my Natural there is way too much air in the flow. There are 3 inlets on the bottom just above the threading. Since it wouldn't fit flush on either 2 of those I pulled out a 510 to ego adapter and used the skirt.
This helped out some but then there are 4 channels milled into the base. All this air mutes the flavor to me.

Overall I like it but I think Kanger needs to revise the base. Could be an awesome tank but I will go to my AGA or even the iCkear 30 before this one.

I will say it is the nicest package I have seen.

Try adapting your draw. I find a very gentle, long (5-6 seconds) gives the best results and better than any other clearo I've used.

Grab some Evod heads in place of the Pro Tank heads if you prefer a less airy draw.

Quick n' clean fix for an airy draw on flush-mounted devices: Food-grade silicone putty. I've since opened one of the channels up, as I found the draw a little TOO stiff. I'm into my second week of heavy use with a pair (soon to be triplets!). I love these tanks.

The putty is easily scraped out with a paper clip, but stays perfectly intact when cleaning with tap/distilled water. You can pick some up from your local crafts store. It's in the mold-making section at Michaels. :)

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrk, (fast stop, tires screeching).

So this IS a glorified EVOD/BCC?

Same head design, I guess you could call it that if you want. The glass is nice if you like to vape things that crack plastic. It is a much "heavier duty" piece. (all the T3, MT3, EVOD, Baby T3, Protank are all basically the same design different sizes and materials.)

How do you think it compares with BCC mega?

to compares with BBC mega, performance is the same as BBC mega but i got a lot more clean taste with protank. the amount of vapor production is i think same as BBC mega. i have 2 BBC mega tank. I like it. no problem so far. to compare those two tank, the only different is much clean taste.

Best username on ECF!

I don't even know why I was talking {edit}...all I use is EVOD's!

Seems purchase worthy.

I've got one on the way, and a Vamo which will be an upgrade on my eGo twist. Thanks for the review, can't wait to try it. What max voltage are you vaping at, out of curiosity? It seems my only issue with a Kanger bottom coil is the wick struggles to keep up over 4.2,on a 2.5 ohm coil....and that's on a 70/30 PG/VG liquid.

i use 4.3V on 2.5ohm coil with 50/50 ration. vapor production is awesome. with 2.5ohm coil, you should be able to use 4-4.5V without any problem. If you have dry hit with over 4V on 2.5ohm coil, you might want to pull out only one wick so that way juice can flow much nicer to the coil.
