I have my kanger protank coming tommorow. My question, Is there anything special I should do to it before I use it for the first time? i.o rinse tank coil wicks dry burn etc...

Anything with the wick and coil. I know I had some ce4's that always tastes horrible with the wicks. I realize they are top coils and protank is bottom just didnt know if I should or it was ok to dry burn the wick and coil first
I got mine, first upgrade from a cigalike. Watched PBusardo's review one last time, filled it, and vaped. Worked fine. Sometimes ignorance is bliss...
Mine had a little paper included that said to rinse first because of the glue (cement) sometimes leaves s little on the inside. The tank is glued together. I forgot to finds the second one and I could really taste it, first 5 or 6 puffs
Get some krazy glue just in case. My kanger protank's upper part, the one with the tip, got unglued a few minutes after I used it. Bonded it together with krazy glue.
Why am I reading this AFTER I filled my new Protank? I got so involved in assembling the thing - I'm mechanically challenged, that I totally forgot about cleaning. 
I'm not sure if they improved these very recently or if I'm just lucky, but I got some replacement coils and 2 new protanks so I could have a few stocked with different flavors, but they seem to be producing a TON more vapor than the ones I got about a month ago. I also picked up an eGo sleeve to help me prevent over-tightening and it seems to help a lot with dialing back how airy they are out of the box on my VAMO.
Didn't rinse mine...tasted awesome from the first fill. Kind of weird getting used to the airy draw and cooler vape but all good so far!
I noticed the airy draw and cooler vape too. Wasn't that sure about it after the first few puffs but I'm finding I like it. Mine tasted fine without rinsing too. But after seeing it in writing, it's probably good to clean this kind of things.
The wicks are so tiny, after rinsing I just blot them with a paper towel, and then I put a few drops of the same liquid that will be going in the tank on the wick! No problems with flooding because I just use a few drops, but it helps wick in the juice faster.
I rinse and then i dry burn for a full 30 seconds. Because i can. Because mine has metal wick. Wazaaaaahhhhh.
just got some 500 SS mesh today, waiting on the wire to wrap coils, and have your video bookmarked to see how hard it is for me to figure out!
Love my protank! I remove the uncoiled wicks, seems to produce tastier vapor that way
It still takes me a good while especially without a good torch. My build definitely requires some attention to details since you can ruin the rubber gasket in the head if you make a marginal mistake. Good luck.
