Kanger Protank

With being new I sure have had some fun.I got myself a protank and had nothing but trouble with it, flooding and awful taste & leaking, just a bad time. Got onto a forum and asked questions about what I could do. A lot of people said to clean it out and put an extra rubber upside down on the wick stem, tried that, didn't change the performance. I asked where I get some of my juice from and he said the glass tank should be glued, but mine was loose and could spin around. I bought a PuriTank Glassomiser, and started to vape again. The protank would come apart into 4 pieces, the top, the glass, the bottom, and the shaft that went up the middle?. I fixed it and it works good. Some aquarium silicone, and some JB Weld did the trick. Some people said it is suppose to come apart? Tell me what you think about the protank.

I absolutely love the Protank. Unlike a lot of people who like to have a lot of toys, I have settled on an ego battery 510 vv and a pro tank. I have had a couple (clones) fall apart on me and I just trashed them, but your fix sounds good. Every now and then I debate upgrading the battery, but I do like things that just work and the ego/protank combo just works.

Are you sure it's a PT and not a PT2? You can tell the difference easily by if it has a removable drip tip/mouthpiece. If you have the PT2, it comes apart for easier cleaning. On the flooding issues... Perhaps your drawing a bit hard, or too frequently. This can cause flooding, and a burnt tast. Or, could come from to high of voltage/wattage. You can try turning down your settings to correct this. On the leaking aspect, it is common for people to lose a rubber grommet when taking apart and cleaning for the first time. You should basicaly have a silicon washer everywhere it screws together. If you have lost one by chance, I personally don't know any vendors selling just seals, however you could take one to a hardware store and match it up with something from the plumbing department.

Now, if you infact have an original PT, with a non-removable drip tip/mouthpiece, I have no hands on experience with these, so I can't offer any assistance on that front.
