I'm about to buy a Kanger Subtank mini from a vape shop for $34. Is that a good deal? If not what are some other tank suggestions? I currently vape on a minivolt 40w box mod if that helps.

I think that sounds about Right for a B&M. They go for about $20 ~ $25 (+ Shipping) on most Online Retailers.

I think the SubTank Mini and the TopTank Mini are Both Very Nice RTA's. They both Perform about the Same. But the TopTank Mini has Top Fill.

Which Is a Nice Feature.

Have a joyetech mega here, and it's nice that you can use temp or sub ohm, or even a 1 ohm MTL.
But the kanger has the edge due to the sheer variety of coils and third parties making coils as well, for those not into rebuilding.
Plus, it has two proper MTL options, that don't gurgle/flood or do dry hits unlike the ego one, with the occ and ssocc 1.2 and 1.5 options. So the kanger gives you pretty much everything from temp control to the much improved ssocc sub ohm to a genuine bonafide MTL.
personally i chose the pro tank 4 over here as it takes the same coils and i love the looks of it.

My only gripe is that i'd like to see some stainles steel temp coils for it, even if not from kanger themselves. But then again, the ego one only has nickel or titanium anyway (i can confirm, the temperature control coils of the ego one work very very well).

The CLR coils are better even for those who just want pre made coils, much better than CL.

I have puchased many tanks and drippers over the last 5 or so years and they all are waiting in boxes to be gifted to future ex smoker friends except my sub tank minis. I wish they were out when I first started, I could have saved a lot of $. Just agreat all aound tank with options and hardly ever leaks. Cannot recommend enough. I do recommend buying from fastek, or purchase just the bases seperately and the bell cap tanks when you find them on sale and make your own for usually half the price once you determine if you like them or not. I think I have 30 or so for the long haul stashed awat.

Yeah I liked them so much and I usaully have 8 going with a different flavor in it most of the time. and they are for my daughter and friends. I have kind of stockpiled. Do you guys know if kanger quit making these and the k boxes, because they sure are hard to find. I would reallt like to get a couple more mini 50 watt k boxes to have, they just really work also.

I agree. My friend used to have one, we put it through hell and it never broke. What mod would you recommend with this tank? I'll thinking about using a minivolt 40w (I don't care that it will look weird).

For a Stealth, On-the-Go Set-up, I run a Sub/TopTank in one of these.

Tesla Stealth 40W TC $33.95

That, or on an eLeaf Pico.

I use them mostly on my mechanicals of all kinds, tube mods. Also on k boxes and higher ohm factory coils I will run one on the Provari, I havent gotten around to rebuilding one for higher ohms, the pre roolled coils keep working so havent needed to replace. I have an urtasound machine for cleaning and makes them look new even after 8 months.
