Kanger t2 problem.

Mine was working fine with my Cinnamon Roll liquid until yesterday when I cleaned it. Took it apart, soaked it all in warm water for 15-20 minutes and let it dry overnight.

Today it vapes the same, except now there's barely any flavor now (Cinnamon roll is usually a pretty strong flavor). Anything I can do to fix it?

I actually just changed it out last week.

I never really got more than a week out of a Kanger head, especially with a juice like cinnamon roll. Some people boil their heads or soak them in alcohol (vodka or PGA), I just pitch them if they don't taste right.

I've had this one almost 2 months now, no problems until this point...no biggie, I have a CE5 and a few others, would like to fix this one though since I'm in love with it.

stump, don't think I can because it's not the rebuildable one. (Doesnt open from the bottom) and dont know if its safe to dry burn with the plastic tube still on it. Tried once, it got hot real quick though.

You can take the silicone piece off and pulse your battery until you see the coil down in there glowing red. May help clean the atomizer off and get any remaining water out of the wick.

Even a tiny bit of "beginner level" tweaking can make them into vaping powerhouses...too bad you have to fix something that should come from the factory already good enough...

Don't dry burn if you change your flavor wick over to cotton, silica can withstand around 2k degrees, cotton...not so much

Kanger t2 is nothing like a Protank though.

You are correct, T2 appear to be almost top coil design (but with long airshaft so its a mid to bottom coil...interesting) built into the long air shaft that goes thru the middle of the tank

When I dry burn, should I take the wicks out? Can't really see much with them in the way.

Slip off the top silicone grommet and the little tiny metal cap on top (its just pressed fit in, be careful to not lose it though)
Pull out the top flavor wick, and now looking down the air shaft you should see the coil.
Screw it back onto your PV, set it to as low a voltage as you can, and pulse fire it (about 3-4 seconds)... After a few pulses, you should see the coil glow. Pulse once or twice more, let it cool, and reassemble.

It should have one wick that isn't inserted in a coil (flavor wick) and one that has the coil on it.

as a t2 user. i recomend letting the wick dry longer. the flavorlessness is coming from the left over water(or even other chemicals from tap water) still in the wicks.

dry burning can melt the rubber grommet that holds the wire... dont understand why the topof the coil is silicone, but the rubber that touches the hot wire isnt silicone....

How to clean a Kanger T2 top coil
First remove the coil head, then the silicone cap that’s on the coil head. Remove the little metal bit on the top, its fitted in so just pull it out. Remove the top wick and I slide out the bottom wick.

With an empty tank, put your now disassembled coil back into your tank and then tank onto a battery. Pulse the power a few seconds at a time until you burn off all the gunk built up on the coil. Remove the coil head, rinse off the ash under hot water, let it dry, insert clean wick, (a little tricky at first, but after a few times you’ll get the hang of it.) reassemble and bazinga, almost new coil head. I get 4 or 5 uses out of the head before it breaks.

Since I can't speak French and they're cheap enough I'm gonna' stick with popping a fresh one in when it tastes burnt for now

Just dry burned my first one today. Works like new. I also cut the flavor wick in half to completely eliminate the burnt spot. I'm vaping a dark liquid and it seems as if I have to clean or change it about every other day. Not sure of the PV/VG ratio. I gotta learn how to rebuild these things in a hurry because these thet're about 2 bucks a pop. Not gonna give up my Blackberry Bourbon either.
