Kanger T3 bases: 808 AND eGo?

I was under the impression that the T3 only uses eGo threads.

Smokeless Image had their own T3 made to their specs because the X2 cone threads are slightly longer/wider than a standard eGo. As far as I know, they're the only company with an "808" T3.

Great, thanks! Guess it's two orders... :)

I should've explained that. I have the SI version for my Volt X2's, but I'd like to use them on my VAMO (I already have a 510 to eGo extender with the outer threads). I wouldn't mind using them on my Vision Spinners as well.

It's too bad there's no 510 to 808 (with the Volt X2 outer thread) adapter, but there isn't.

From what I've read on the S.I. forums, the standard T3's would work on the X2 but it took a bit of pressure to do so and the bottom threads would remain exposed.

Also, the bases between the S.I. version and the standard are interchangeable with the tanks according to the people who have used both.

Now that is fantastic news, thanks! I'll try a set of the standard bases (which I need anyway) and if they work on the X2 so much the better!

How did it work out?
I want a MT3 too (because they are sexy), and wondered if they will screw on to my SI base, plus hoping to avoid two shipments as well :)

Right now, I'm vaping the mini t3 on a volt 900mah.
I needed to replace the head and all I had were some standards left over from using with my Twist.
And as is posted above, they do fit, but you have to use a bit of pressure....
Do it gently though.
And don't force it.
It only takes a couple of 'screws' to get it on.
Don't over do it.
Good luck!

The center base is in fact different on a standard vs. a S.I. Version. It is not the center pin but the actual place where the center pin fits that is different. I could not get the standard to screw on to the volt x2 I understand why an adapter was recommended, but

The MT3 fit awesome :) on a SI T3 base (clearomizer head). I am using it now!

I think it is going to be more durable than the T3 and it hides my dark juices nicely.
