All the Kanger tanks are similar in that they will gurgle when the juice gets low. The EVOD wicks must be built differently because I can drain a tank dry with a new head and no gurgles. Once even an EVOD head is well broken in and wicking just right, it needs to be kept more than about 1/3 full (depending on liquid viscosity) Or it will gurgle a bit. The upside is I can use the thickest juice I can get with exceptional performance. A 20/80 juice in an EVOD with just one of the "flavor wicks" removed is vaping heaven lol.

I also have plenty of top coil "stardust" type clearos but I just don't enjoy them as much. They also wick great but I don't like the tilt n twirl routine to keep them going. I also have plenty of cartos but they don't seem to wick thick juice very well and I've never been satisfied using them -- just never found ones that could produce enough vapor to satisfy. Maybe I didn't give them enough of a chance -- eh, I'll likely never know lol.

The upshot is, for me at least, bottom coil is "it."

Somewhere out there
thats the thing.. ive been through two heads and everythings nicce and tight.. its only when its gets really low.. its not leaking when its full. but when its 3/4 down i get liquid in my mouth

Yeah, that's just the way they are. Keep them at least 1/3 full and they're OK. But, I felt I was getting a plasticky taste so I gave up on the T3s. The Evods work better, no plastic taste and I can run them lower without gurgling.

I feel Kanger admitted a problem with the drip tip plastic when they re-designed the 3Ts to have clear plastic like the Evod

These kanger bottom coil clearo's can get a bit touchy on how you use them when they get low on juice. They work on a vacuum principal to keep the juice in the tank, much like holding a finger over a straw hole to keep liquid in the straw. As the tank starts to get empty there is more air in the tank making this seal weaker.

When this seal gets weaker you can actually start sucking the juice out of the tank when you are taking a draw. This is over wicking and the only way to solve this problem is to take very slow soft draws while the tank is low. Evods suffer less from this problem as they have a smaller tank.

Another problem with this seal is that the wicks need under the juice level while taking a draw. If you hold the clearo a little horizontal while taking a draw on a low tank one of the wicks can be exposed to air in the tank allowing extra air to be forced into the tank. This breaks the seal allowing juice to flow from the tank flooding the air tube. When the tank gets lower you need to hold it as vertical as possible.

I had a lot of problems with my t3's leaking and gurgling when I first got them. Keeping these 2 things in mind fixed about 95% of the problems I had with them. Sometimes it is just a bad head that needs adjusting of the flavor wicks or a recoiling.

I've had the same problem with one of me two t3s. I had a ragged viva head and cut a piece of wick off that and added little by little on top of the t3 coil. I haven't completely got rid of the gurgles, but it no longer leaks or throw juice in my mouth. I plan on playing with it more when it gets it next cleaning but so far it seems like a solid fix.

I bought 5 T3s and all leaked, gurgled, got juice in the mouth even after taking out the extra wicks. I even rebuilt the coils but all failed. Then I bought 2 Evod, both worked well except some gurgling. Then I put the Evod coil and base in T3. Wow,everyone of them work very well.No leaking and no gurgling. Now you get great bcc with larger capacity than Evod. So glad I did not throw away my T3.

so the bases are interchangeable? thought the evod tank was smaller?
