Getting into more advanced vaping and decided to take a dive on the Kanger T3. I initially wanted to get both T3's and Mini Nova's, to compare, but the Mini's are nowhere to be found. Initial impressions: The T3 clearomizer is simple enough. There is the clear tank with the non-removable drip tip. The atomizer head mounts into the base and is nicely knurled for grip. Filling is simple and painless. I recommend a needle tipped bottle, but it's not really necessary. Filled first T3 and let it sit for a while. As my first clearomizer, I wasn't really sure how long it would take the admittedly tiny wicking to saturate, so I just let it sit for an hour to be sure. First Draw: Airy and loose, barely any vape, no flavor. After a couple more failed tries with the same result, I tried tilting the entire assembly (battery is a rebranded EGO passthrough from my7's) to expose the coil away from the juice and puffed a couple times to heat it. Returned to normal position and got a pretty decent vape, though the draw was still very airy. I was very disappointed at this point and had read similar anecdotal experiences from other people. Confused and scratching my head I started fiddling with my T3 and scouring the net for fixes and answers. It turns out the answer is very simple. Loosen the atomizer head from the tank a little bit. There are 2 sets of rubber seals on the knurled base of the atomizer head and a second seal further up the base, so unless you go crazy loosening it up, there is no threat of leaking even with quite a large gap. Fortunately, a large gap isn't necessary. For whatever reason, this both tightens the draw and improves the vape/flavor/throat-hit a hundred fold. So there it is. To those that say the Kanger T3's are airy and vape poorly, I can attest that that was my first impression as well. But simply fiddling with how tight the base is mounted into the tank (I'm not referring to base to battery here) changes everything. I also removed a wick from my second T3 as some have suggested and it doesn't seem to change anything, and they both perform solid in my opinion. Maybe I would see a difference with a mod, but they both perform trasnparently on my ego passthroughs. Which is to say well. So anyway, I highly recommend. They can be had for dirt cheap and are available everywhere.

Just a heads up...myvapestore has the mini Vision Novas in stock..this is where I order almost 90% of my hardware. Great site! Usually always ships the same day you order!!!

MINI Vision Vivi Nova Tank System - Metal Tube

Like an above poster stated...what works to fix the issues for some with the T3s, doesn't for others. Glad you found what works for you!!

Great info here! I saw a veteran reviewer claim these T3s are great and was all set to order a couple but it sounds like they have some quality control problems to overcome. That is, of course, if the problem isn't just cheap Chinese knock-offs being the ones causing the problems. Maybe spending a bit more for the real thing is the difference with the experiences people are having?

I also have one. Try to re-coil it, I used a 2mm thickness silica wick as a base coil and three silica wicks which thickness is 1mm as a flavor wick. Look inside the coil and I saw about six turns of kanthal wire so I re-coil it to four turns. There is a little silicon sleeve which shape is just like a cup, just turn it around to upside position and push it to a bigger pipeline then screw the base in. You can also covering one vent to reduce the intake air flow so you can do a long and slow draw. This solution can reduce dry-burn, make the flavor and throat hit stronger. Do not chain vaping with T3, give it a rest after a few puff. Although I do all this solution I found that using a soft flavor (for example: fruits flavor,....) will not give a satisfying taste so I always use a bold flavor just like espresso, Cuban cigars,... for my T3. Let your T3 stand upside to reduce the leakage. When you refill it, before you turn out the base just use your finger to sealed the hole on drip tip until you assembled the base into the tank, so the juice can flow out the drip tip.

Maybe so. I have 5 genuine Kanger T3s and have had no problems at all.

Just an update, I have since obtained 2 MT3's a mini nova and a mod (vamo v2). I'll get into the vamo v2 in another post (gotta hit my noob count somehow!). As for the MT3's, they do seem different from my first T3's. The knurling on the atomizer base is slightly different and seems to be made of a different material. My original T3's are showing copper or something in the ego threading, while my MT3's look fine. That being said, they all function fantastically on the vamo V2, but 1 T3 and 1 MT3 vape really poorly on my ego passthroughs. I dunno what to make of it. It's possible they are both knock-offs from different companies. The resistance on each atomizer is a little different across all 4 units. So it's a little disappointing. I'm not taking my vamo anywhere as it's 1.) not portable and 2.) looks ridiculous and sketchy in public. So I have 2 T3's that I can carry with me, with my ego's and 2 T3's that are only good for home use with my vamo. At the price it's not a huge deal, but yes, it does seem to be a coin-toss as to what is 100 percent working. Mini Nova: I picked up a mini nova along with my vamo. The first head I modded straight off the bat: transplanted 2 wicks above atomizer. Let sit for an hour. Dry, burnt, plasticy hits. Disgusting. Let sit for a day. Came back again. Dry, burnt, plasticy hits. Unvapable. Installed 2.8 ohm head (has one thick wick). Cleaned, refilled, and let sit overnight. 2.8 ohm head vaped well on vamo v2 and had flavor, hits a burnt taste again at very low voltage. Anything over 3.2v. This doesn't seem right, as it seems like my sweet spot should be around 3.8-4.2, but it works and I am happy with it. Warmer vape than a T3. Quality:I would say quality of materials easily goes to a T3. Ease of filling is a toss up, they are both pretty easy. I guess one can fill a nova while it's still attached to the battery...but I would question the wisdom of such an action. All the components of a Nova feel and look pretty cheap. Cleaning: Easily goes to the Nova. Entire unit can be disassembled. Vape production: Again a tossup, I think my first head on my nova was bad and it was unvapable...but it comes with 2 other heads so you have a good chance of getting something that works. I have 4 T3's and 2 are a little ....y. They 'work' but not like the other 2. Nova gives a warmer vape, T3 has a cooler vape. Both have good vapor production. T3 has slightly more flavor to me. Minor Rebuilding: T3 takes barely any wicking whatsoever, easy to replace. The nova is just as simple, but requires about 40x more material to rewick. Price: Again a tossup, T3 runs about 6 bucks while a mini nova runs around 10. The mini nova comes with 3 heads though, which makes it pretty attractive and actually a steal at the price...if they all work that is, but at least you got 3 shots with one unit for a decent atty. Personally I would go with a T3, though it's pretty close. Mostly because the flavor is better, and you don't have to worry about the wicking drying out. The construction is better quality. Really, the only thing the mini-nova has going for it is the 510 connector which makes it more mod friendly.

If by flooding, you mean it began to leak beneath the atty into your battery connector, it means you have build up on the atomizer coil and wicks. Leaking and loss of vape and flavor is a good sign of this. This is what I do: Take your atty off and set your T3 upside down somewhere if there is still usable e-liquid inside. The center of a stack of CD's/DVD's is literally the perfect size for securely holding the tank why you clean the atomizer. Take a shot or rocks glass and fill it with about a 3/4 inch alcohol (I use vodka cause it's on hand), remove the post from the atomizer and take the rubber grommet off or at least slide it up the post enough, so that the gunk that has accrued underneath can get removed when submersed in your glass. Take the atty and carefully remove the wicks above the coil-wick and set them aside on a plate. You will see visible buildup and the wicks will look very dark. Take the atomizer and submerse it in the glass as well. Now take your wicks, again, carefully pick them up with a pair of tweezers by one end and swish them around in the alcohol until the buildup and heavy discoloration disappears. Carefully place them back on the plate. Let your atty and post sit for a couple minutes, swish them and take them out to dry on the plate. The alcohol will evaporate pretty quickly and you can put the entire assembly back together and be ready to vape again. Alternately you can keep fresh wicking on hand, but it doesn't really make the process significantly faster and there really isn't anything wrong with the old wicking.

I have a few T3's all work great without any problems. I second what another poster said about leaning to rewick them
If I can do it anyone can. The hardest part is getting the grommet back in but if you use these its very easy, once you
have it lined up just push it in AGA Series Positive Post Insulators - 10 pack - Kidney Puncher
There is a post in the assorted topics section/clearomizers that shows you how to rebuild them, get some 100% cotton
and the taste is great.

Try the evods also as well as the protank.
