Kanger T3 Verse Protank Verse Iclear 30s

Well my Bottom Feeders are in the shop.

The first one my DNA20D Bottom Feeder is stuck at 20 Watts, chip went bad, and then my Bogger Box Standard Bottom Feeder. I destroyed that one with user misuse. I was experimenting with XS-116 Ceramic wick and then I couldn't get the bad taste out. I became so obsessed that I blow torched it while on the feeder. Heat conducted and did bad things and then about a week later I found the Metal Catch Ring could turn, I didn't realize the whole assembly was connected and I turned it and pulled the wires out. Bone Headed moves, no reflection on the Bottom Feeding Bogger Box it is solidly internally constructed.

Marcus is being a prince, he's replacing it. "Says cant' be repaired " at no charge. May have been because I leveled with him and offered to pay. In addition I just spent borchu bucks on a standard bottom feeder with Gaboon Ebony Inlay and Redwood Lace Burl. I've found that if you are honest with a vendor when it's your fault, offer to pay, and they are quality oriented, they'll do the extra to help.

So anyway I switched to my back up which is Provari and Itaste Mvp. I've been on a Protank and it's been torture just no taste. Then one of those wierd things happened. For some reason it stopped working on my Itaste MVP Vs 1. Yes I pulled out the pin out on the Protank and yes I pulled the connector a little out with a pick on MVP [I'm not a Rookie[[At least most of the time]] still wouldn't work on MVP but works on the Provari fine.

I prefer using my Itaste MVP to the Provari and also felt uncomfortable without a backup, I always have a backup Atomizer and APV, comes from beginning to vape 4 1/2 years ago when you could only buy stuff online and if something went wrong you were in big trouble.

Well the Kanger T3 tastes very good, Much better then the Protank II. By the way I've been on the Protank IIfor two weeks and been through three Clearomizers. The first that came with the kit was defective.

Anyway, I'd recommend the Kanger T3 over the Protank any day of the week.

I was so frustrated with the lousy muted taste that I orderd the new IClear 30S yes the newest one that's not rebuildable. Alright I'll admit it, I think the Metal internals look cool, and my curiousity as a hobbiest means that with any excuse I wanted to try a dual coil Plain Jane Clearomizer tank. The allure was even higher because they are new and sold out and finding one online was difficult. PBusardo also said good things about it. It'll come early next week and it will be interesting to compare.

The place I found it from was from a link in the forum and if you went to the vendors webpage it doesn't show up. You need the exact link!! Don't we all love scoring the hard to find items.!!

Since I'll be trying the Iclear 30S in the next few days I've included it in the thread.

To be fair I should mention that I vape diy 100% Vg Organic Juices. Possibly the taste profile could change with a PG/VG Mix

I welcome your comments but please take into account that taste is subjective and I'm just voicing my opinion based on my Taste. If you are happy with the Protank II or disagre with me. There is no right or wrong where taste is concerned. Just Opinions.!!

I have found that if you drill out the air holes on the 510 connector of your PTII it will make the draw more airy(more like an RDA) and increases flavor and vape production especially with a micro-coil rebuild. of course thats just me YMMV.

Received the new Iclear 30s and so far it's a loser, It has a chemical type taste to it that makes it just about unvapable. either chemical or it just is bringing out an undertone of the flavoring I'm using. Either way it's very unpleasant.

I'm going to give it a few days then try washing the cartridge and a different eliquid.

Probably a foolish question, but did you clean it before first use?
Seems that a lot of clearos can have some nasty machine oil residue on arrival.
(If you did that then please disregard)
Have you tried it again after the wash & new liquid?
Curious about these iClear30s's. Heard a million good and a million not-so-good reviews.
Many say the flavor's Much Better in one - same amount say the same about the other, & almost ALL say the amount of Vape is bigger with the iClear30s's.
I've got a Protank(1), and I kinda hate it (other than the appearance) - prefer the warmer vape (plus I get minimal flavor... haven't tried rebuilding the coil yet though).
NOW there's the PT3 & Aspire BDC... if ONLY the Aspire BDC looked like the PT3
Just wondering - I'm getting an SVD (which comes with the Regular iClear 30), and was thinking about adding some "s" models with it.

My Protank 3 should be in any day now. I'm currently using the iClear 30 but a lot of my juices are fruit and I'm not sure which will crack the plastic so I figured the glass PT3 might be good.

I couldnt even read the whole thing. I was laughing so hard after "blow torch" that I could'nt ruin the fun with the seriousness of the topic. Any time you take a blowtorch to a vaping tool.....you're way "too far in". Hobby vs. insanity. Lets not encourage the vendors to think we want to "fix" everything our selves.

Protank 3 just came in today.. Woohoo! I like it much better than the iClear 30. Still got the airy draw that I have on the mini but lots more flavor.
