Kanger tank issues ruining my day.

I have a VTR. I like the iClear30s that came with the VTR, but after doing some reading and finding some people don't care for these tanks, I decided to buy some others to see if there was any difference. I bought an AeroTank2 and ProTank2. There's definitely a difference. That difference is FLOODING. No matter what I do, both my Kanger tanks flood juice into the center tube and out the bottom onto the post. I believe the atomizers I'm using are 1.8ohm and I'm vaping between 8-10.5w depending on vapor output at the time. With a full tank, I usually have an ok time for a bit. Flavor seems a little better than the iClears, but shortly into my session the whole system floods and I find myself drinking more juice than vaping. I open up the tanks, wash the lower under water, clean out the center tube with a pipe cleaner, check the o-rings, blow out the atomizer, blow out the drip tip, and put it back together. Almost immediately it floods again. I keep going back to the iClears because I never have a problem with them. Is there any way to prevent the flooding from happening in the Kanger tanks? I'm about to throw these things in the trash.

Quick question. Is the little rubber grommet on the chimney of the coil present?

Hmmm. im out of advice. You could just have some bum coils, or a bad seal in the tank. Kangers not known for the QC of thier coils.

Try doubling up on the rubber grommets on the chimney. Take one of another coil, turn it upside down and put it on top of another. I have to do that when I use a single coil head in a dual coil tank.

Agree Kanger quality control is shocking especially when it comes to the coils.

I have had numerous problems with then flooding on to my battery until I got in to re-building the coils myself with a micro coil and wicking with cotton. Using this method I have not had any flooding/gurgling or dry hits in any of my kanger tanks

Thank you again for the suggestions. I tried doubling up the rubber washer on top of the atomizer. I couldn't get the tank to screw together properly and wasn't getting a seal at the bottom of the glass. I had to abandon this idea. I ordered a generic airflow valve to put on the bottom of the ProTank2 as well as changed out the atomizer on both the ProTank2 and AeroTank2. So far they seem to be behaving better (only used them for one night). I have to say I'm pretty unhappy with all the issues I've had. I feel that spending the extra money for Kanger tanks should have given me a much better experience than I've had. I don't like to pay for something I'm going to have to fiddle with for weeks to work the way I want it to. Oh well. You live and you learn. I've learned that I will not be buying any more Kanger products. On a brighter note, the Aspire Glass Nova S BDC I ordered came in. Wow. I love this Clearomizer. No issues whatsoever. Flavor is great. Vapor is great. It's definitely not machined any where near as nice as the Kanger tanks, but it certainly performs better for me. I'll be sticking to iClear30S tanks and Aspire Nova S BDC tanks from now on. These tanks just give me a much better experience and as an added bonus, they cost less than Kanger.
