Kanger Tank Plus Coils

I have been trying to duplicate the Kanger tank coils for my wife. She likes the hit etc and the normal type coils I build, anywhere from a .4 to a 1.0 doesn't have the same hit and draw as the Kanger store bought ones. Mine are the normal tight coils while the Kanger's are very loosely wound and look like they shouldn't work at all.
Has anyone successfully more or less duplicated them and if so how?

That's odd . . . I used to recoil those with 7 or 8 wrap, 29g micro coils (2mm contact coils) and could get them to sing. They'd come in about 1.5 ohms. There's a thread in the clearomizer forum on recoiling those, pretty long read, lots of posts, but it may be worth your time.
