Kanger tech ceramic coils

I got a box of them a couple weeks ago. Lets start with the cons...drains my battery WAY faster than the previous coil options we're used to...if i put it down for a couple hours or longer i get mild burnt tasting hits for the first maybe 5 or 6 draws. As for them lasting longer. .the first coil lasted 10 days before i replaced it due to leaking (something my topbox never does). Also the ceramic gets hot and stays hot somthing im not use to w the kanger. The tank gets pretty hot. Also the ceramic will continue to fire for a couple seconds after letting off due to it retaining heat. Iv learned to continue drawing a couple seconds after firing. Pros would be...noticeably better flavor than the standard coils...and the fact that when u do get a dry hit its not near as bad as on a ssoc or any non ceramic set up. Thats about it for pros so far. Ill experiment with different juices to see if i can help the a.m wicking issue. Its rough starting the day with 5 mild burnt hits
I bought one of them from myvaporstore.com and really liked it. It was the only Kanger Coil I could take up to 50 watts and IMO it produces the most clouds out of all the OCC and SSOCC coils. The flavor was on par with the other Nichrome and Clapton heads but the vapor is really what showed the difference IMO.
When the coil was first being broken in.. I couldn't help but notice (or maybe it's just in my head) that there was a sort of different taste.. maybe ceramic for the first 6 hits on a fresh coil though. After those first 6 to 8 draws it disappeared.
Over all I'd say they were great. I never got a dry hit beyond testing the wattage limits, which for me, was 50 watts.

You may want to try this. After you put it down for a few hours or longer, try taking several deep, long draws without pressing the fire button on your mod. This will draw juice back into the coil preventing a dry hit. Those can be hard to deal with for sure.
I have tried and liked the ceramic coil in my KSM. Not kanger brand but, one that I got from LeCig. I am currently using and liking the cCell ceramic coils with my Melo 2 tanks.
BTW- Once ceramic coils get gunked up, you are able to clean them with a dry burn. I posted a video in another thread on how to do this. I will find it and post it here as well. These coils can last for a very long time if they are broken in and cleaned properly IMHO

Problem with Vaporesso cCell Coils
While I love the long life of ceramic coils, I am extremely disappointed with the leaking issues. My first try at ceramic coils was the Reaper Plus. The coils leaked like a sieve. If you opened the juice control all the way open and tilted the tank on its side, you could literally see the juice level in the tank drop as the juice leaked out of the airflow slots. The ceramic coils for the Freemax Scylla was better as the wicking holes were tiny...about the width of 24 gauge wire, but it still would slowly leak. I had to blow through the AFC air slots 2 or 3 times a day to blow out the juice that leaked and collected inside the AFC otherwise tilting the mod would result in juice dripping down the top and side of your mod. That said, one coil would last me over a month and over 250 ml of juice and I swapped out the coil only because I wanted to, not because I needed to. I'm certain that if I had wanted to, I could have continued using the same coil.
Iv heard nothing but good things about the vaporesso Ccell coils im def going to give them a try
Wish I could find the Vaporesso Ccoil in .5 or .4 ohm. All I can find (and not that often) are the .9's.
