I've just given up trying to use a Kanger top box mini with a Vaperesso Gemini RBA using SS coils. I initially began making nickel coils and was able to switch the Vaperesso tank between the Kanger and an Eleaf Pico vaporizer. The SS coils I've tried seem to work for up to a few hours then suddenly they stop working, coils not heating and no vapor production. The Vaperesso tank will work in a smok vaporizer and will work on the Kanger in the watts mode. I've tried using SS coils a few times and always go back to using nickel coils because of problems.
I'm wondering if I'm the only one having this problem, if I'm doing something wrong or the is a problem with the vaporizer.

Kanger top box: Wattage output: 7-75W, Temperature Control : Ni / Ti / SS / Ni-chrome, Range: 100 - 300C / 200 - 600F . It was my first vaporizer and came with a nickel atomizer installed which lasted a month, I didn't get much flavor from it but the nicotine kept me from smoking.
I bought the Vaperesso RBA and began making nickel coils hoping to get more flavor through. Now I make my own liquid and get plenty of flavor, never went back to the original Kanger tank.
The Kanger originally will do the SS but stops, this tank when put on the Smok works. The Kanger has no problems with nickel. For settings with SS I've used .40 ohms and it worked quite a while then stopped working. I then made .50 ohm coils which worked for a while and also stopped working. I've varied the temp but usually am around 350 F. On the screen the temp jumps around but there the voltage stays at 0.
