kanger toptank min wont fire on kbox mini

im wondering if anyone knows why? I bought the toptank for my wife and it works fine on a subvod kanger battery or my cuboid or koopor but wont read (shows 9.99) on the kbox mini. why? thread length is the same as my subtank mini and subtank plus. wont work on the kbox. which is a bummer as she wants simplistic top fill and variable wattage. I dont want to give the cuboid or koopr because mainly she thinks they are to big and bulky. she likes small. one would think it would work on the kbox mini as it is kanger but it doesnt. and help or info is greatly appreciated.

It is possible that the pin has gotten pushed in a tiny bit to much on the kbox mini. remove the battery, take a tiny screwdriver or equivalent tool and gently pry it up. Sometimes just rocking it side to side will accomplish the same thing. HTH

I don't have a top tank yet but that is a strange one. I have a problem with Lemo 2 in that the pin has to be pushed in to make contact. So it works on a KBM without spring pin but not on my Platinum with spring pin.

On my STM it seems like the coil bottom pushes out the contact pin in the base. Maybe try taking off the base and try a different coil?

First question is Does it show reading of the ohms at all while screwing it in? If it show's ohms that jump around before settling at 9.99 with it completely screwed down than pin in the tank is pushing the kbox's in too far. Try removing the coil and pushing in the pin on the toptanks base and replacing the coil looser ( can't figure out how to describe it but don't screw it in as tight ). If it doesn't read resistance at all then the pin of the toptank isn't connecting down far enough. Reverse procedure; Remove coil and pull coil head pin out just a tad and push the base's pin out a bit. (also check the pin on the kbox as stated before, wiggle and pry up.) Reassemble coil and base and try again. Hope this helps.

it doesnt show ohms at all stays at 9.99 ohms the whole time. I can use the ssocc coils in my subtank mini same coil and it works with the mini. its just odd. I tried pusing the atomizer pin down a bit same thing can seem to pull the kbox pin up at all need to get some tiny needle nose pliers it could be my tweezers are to flexible to pull it up.I think she will have to break down and use the subtank mini she hates the fact that you have to fill from the bottom etc but at this point she is vaping through the toptanks 3.2 ml in 8hrs so the subtank would be a bit better. she doesnt like change though so it's gonna be rough but she is worried about switching full time to vaping she is down to 5 stinkies a day but since the fda crap she is nervous that we wont be able to buy juice. I told her dont worry I'm going diy this week so it will not be an issue for a while though we are going to be a part of the fda protest on june 1st

A guy I work with was telling me about all the tanks he tried that didn't work on the mini. The cubis is on it now & he had an atlantis before that worked.

yeah pulling up didnt do the trick so sh broke down and is using the subtank mini on it an using the subvod for her nano. just ordered her some coils she does not build and im pretty busy building for reviews and my 6 tanks. i like variety lol

I have 2 KBMs and then got the Platinum edition. It has a spring contact pin. 29.99 at Vapor Beast.

ha! got it to work!!! I bought some tiny tiny needle nose pliers pulled that in WAY up and it works now! thanks guys!
