Kanger toptank nano oring?

In the base of my nano tank there is an o ring right near the threading where the coil screws in. What is its purpose? It looks worn and I can't seem to find replacements online. The top and bottom orings to seal the glass I've seen all over but not these ones.

All orings on tanks are for sealing. If one is worn or damaged, it may/will cause a tank to leak. If your tank isn't leaking than it should still be ok.

On the top right hand corner of this post you will find --"your name" next to "Inbox and Alerts"
Click your name. You will get a drop down and on the left hand side of this drop down you will find "Personal Details".
Click Personal Details.
In Personal Details, scroll down and you will find "Location" Could fill that line in.
