I have been looking at this site, it seems Kangertech is made in China? I thought it was American made?

Nope, Kangertech is in Shenzhen China. Not much made in US anymore. I think US is made in China too but I could be wrong on this.

Well, that's good news, especially as some of the Kanger online stores (that one in your link) are more expensive than a lot of Vendors.

I find it odd that vapers recommend going direct to their regional Kanger "shop" when those shops are pricing everything too high. I wonder if they feel comfortable using an official outlet.

The vast majority of vaping hardware is made in China. I believe the personal vaporizer (as we know it) was invented there.

Yup, invented there. And most of our hardware is still made there. Provari is made in the USofA, here in WA State. Can't think of anything else US made. Some rebuildables originally came out of Germany and Russia, now gleefully cloned in China...
