Someone said that clearomizer coils, noteably from fastech, are lead that is coated with steel, or whatever metal they use. Obviously nobody wants lead in their clearomizer. Does anyone have information on lead in coils?
I can't really say about Fasttech coils but of all the Kanger coils I have in my possession none are like that. However, that being said it would not surprise me if the knock-offs were. I think they would be very easy to spot as soft as lead is
The kangertech coils do have the coil soldered to the leads. The authentic ones are not supposed to have any led in them. I would stay away from knock off coils being that they usually leak anyway and dont last long at all. With that being said if you want to be 100% sure you have no led in your coils you can get some Kanthol A1 wire and learn how to build them yourself. They are really easy to do and you wont have to keep buying them all the time. Plenty of tutorials on you tube.
