Ok so after a few days on a SS coil(that's all I've used since I got it and have had it about 3 months) the coil stops absorbing liquid. At least that's what it seems like. Not burnt. Always primed and on correct settings with each new coil. However the chimney must be unscrewed then a rush of air exits the coil, juice enters and back to flavor for about 3-5 drags. This is super annoying. This is the first all in one mod I've owned and the first time I've experienced this with any type of mod. I get about a week of great vapid out of it then this. Is there any fix other than just constantly replacing coils? I usually get a few weeks out of one. Thanks in advance for any help.

I tried one of those AIO, mine from Joyetech, and never even got a decent vape from it. Finally put the atty adapter in it and relegated the chimney/coil to the junk pile. The one I had had really poor airflow due to its design.

Check your airflow as it sounds as though it is plugged or maybe just closed.

Cupti, Cubis, AIO.... all use cup design. I'm not sure history will judge this period (and products) of innovation very well.
It's just a shame (as with the eGrip 1 and Nebox) that folk buy all-in-one systems that are unproven and then you can't change any part of the hardware to something that actually works.
There's no shortage of bad reviews for Cupti. There are even more for the Joyetech versions too.
Sad.. but that's the vape industry. Frustrating for the OP too.

My airflow is great and I get great clouds from it. Its just not replacing the liquid as it vapes and locks the air in the coil. Like I said this isn't an issue until after about a week. Wouldn't bad air flow be bad air flow regardless of the freshness of the coil? It's almost as though the negative pressure on the chamber drops below the threshold of the osmotic property of the cotton. I mean it's a $45 for the whole shebang so I don't expect to last me for decades and as a consumer I bought it for the same reason most probably do the issue of size and convenience of it. I've had almost every style retail mod made over the last 6 years and in my experience they all are pretty cheap junk about 16 months is the most I've ever gotten out of one. However this seems like it's just a design flaw as was mentioned above or an intentional design to force you into frequent coil changes. Either way it sucks. Thanks for the feedback folks.

Generally / sometimes if you have to 'burp' a tank to keep it wicking something is over tightened ( head to base, tank to base, top cap to tank) or could be you got a batch of heads with the wicking material packed too densely.
With the cupti occasionally the o ring from a previous head sticks in the base, it is rare but when it happens they won't wick right.

Thanks, that's exactly what it seems like. I appreciate the info

I Google any question prior to joining A forum, adding myself to yet another email list. If you Google the issue I states you will find nothing. Only flooding/gurgling issues.

Yeah... Not sure if you're trying to be sarcastic or what as I assume everyone Googles their issue prior to joining a forum, and yes I understand how search terms work as well...thanks

I'm having an issue with mine. With a long pull, I get a burnt cotton taste at the end. I tried switching to tc mode to keep it from overheating, but it will pull for a couple of seconds, then stop and say "check battery." So, for now I'm just using wattage mode at around 30, anything higher and I get the burnt cotton taste. Any suggestions? I've replaced the coil twice already in just a few days.
