im having an absolute KNIGHTMARE with their products... i have 3 aerotanks... every single one is virtually unsable now.

I have been having a big problem with liquid getting into the cylinder.. gurgling noises, fluid coming up into my mouth.. ive checked seals, googled the problem extensively and i cant find a way to stop it happening...

anyway, i bought another one.. thought i would give them one last chance.... so i screw this tank onto my ZMAX V5 and its air tight... absolutely no airflow at all... so i loosen it a bit and vape.... there is a slight flow of air into it (even though the tank is now wobbly) and guess what A MOUTH FULL OF LIQUID.

so ive had enough of these products.. i know other people are using them without issue... but i have no idea how, to me they appear to be absolute garbage that just cant do the job they were designed for.

Can anyone recommend another brad of tank i can use... preferably one that's fit for purpose.

I don't like bottom coils for just the reasons you mentioned. I use a basic iclear 30. It's not completely trouble free but almost and coils usually last two months. :) If you get one make sure it's not a clone - they're worthless.:( I usually get the authentic version from Fasttech. If FT doesn't say authentic it's a clone.

brilliant... i will put one of these on my shopping list as well :)

Being a noob, I've got a lot of different tanks, from KangerTech Pyrex to the silly LED 'Lava Lamp' tanks, which surprisingly work GREAT! (besides being too darned cute especially in a dark room). *stuffs her girly side out of sight where it belongs*

But the tank I always go back to, when I have an ADV I want to spend some time with, and don't want a bunch of hassle to interfere with my bliss, is the Aspire BDC Pyrex tanks. They break down into 4 pieces so you can get them squeaky-clean, and avoid scenarios like the incident that occurred when I thought I could just change from one juice (Cucumber-Mint) to another (Kahlua) in a disposable tank without any kind of rinsing. Ever wondered what one of those acid-green, Mid-Missouri Stink-bugs taste like? Well I can tell you, and it's exceedingly unpleasant. *gag*

Go see my friend Bren at KavVape.com, and tell him Deb in Sturgeon sent you. :D First-time buyers get 17% off and they ship free of charge. The first time I ordered from their website (as opposed to Evil Bay) I got 5 tanks for $6.37 EACH delivered!! wOOt!! You can't even get 'em on Ebay that cheap, not for glass, anyway.

Give them a try! I think you'll be pleased. That gurgling, leaking is a complete PITA, and it completely destroys what would otherwise be a pleasurable experience, right? Ain't nobody got time fo dat. :vapor: Best of luck to you!

There have been a few coils (2 one of mine one of Ed's) but I have aspire Nautilus and the little ones, and we're Kanger fans The Mega is just about as good as it gets w/o rebuilding coils..and about 8 or so pro2s between us with no problems.

Sorry you've had that..do you have a B&M that doesn't mind helping you w stuff you didn't buy there? Ours here in Pearland is great about that.. Maybe it's technique w/liquid fill...I do know if they get low onfliud the best stay upright or just fill it or they will puke liquid or dry hit sometimes

Good luck

kanger has come out with a new head design also and it blows the old ones out of the water and they will go into your aerotank. They are the new coils designed for the aerotank mini/mega and i haven't had a single problem with them.

I really like the new head design, too. My only gripe is that I haven't found a way to take them apart for a proper dry burn/re-wick without destroying them. But, then again, I see that as being a number one reason for the design. Now, instead of doing some routine maintenance or rebuilding, they seem not to last as long and need replacing.

Well, let's start with the basics...

What tanks do you actually have since they are clearly NOT Aerotanks. The Aerotank has it's air inlets on the sides, not the bottom, so it doesn't matter how much you tighten one down it will make no difference on the airflow.

This is an Aerotank. Notice that there is no airflow through the bottom at all.
