So I dropped my kangertech tank, it's late so I had to go to a new store. They sold me an artic tank. Hook it up to the subbox mini, it gives me a really awesome hit at 3ohms, than drops down to 2 ohms flashes and won't hit again. If I take the tank off and put it back on it lets me take one hit and than the process repeats. Please help me out with some advice. New to this world, just quit ciggs, and I don't want to have to run out and buy a pack. Been 4 weeks since I had a cigg.

The subbox mod has a fixed 510 pin specially measured to fit the Kanger Subtanks. Sometimes it doesn't fit other tanks well. It could be a 510 pin connection issue where the tank isn't making good contact.
Is there a way for me too adjust the pin? Also If that was the case how come I get a really awesome first hit? Thanks for the reply!
I hope by fixed pin it dosent mean like I'm screwed haha paid 45$ For the attic tanks being told it will deff work
It could also be that the Subbox doesn't hit below .3 ohms, I don't know the specs on it. You could also have a dirty connection, clean both the tank and 510 pin with a qtip or paper towel. I've heard, if I recall correctly, that you can use something to straighten the 510 if its buggered but dont try this unless someone who knows this device comes along and tells you how.

but 3 ohms? I'm not sure what the limit is but 3 might be beyond where the Subox will fire.
Also, if the ohms are jumping around like that, there is a connection issue either at the 510 connector or in the tank.
i don't believe there *is* a 3 ohm coil for the arctic tank...there is a .5ohm and a .2ohm... should work with .5ohm coil, NOT with .2ohm coil... i would consider avoiding that shop, as they don't seem to know what they are selling very well...
Ok the .5 cool works, what wattage do you recommend? I was at 15 before but I can go up to 50 now right?
hit it at 15, bump it up a couple and hit it again... I vape my .5 at around 20 to 25 watts
Now the kangertech never gurgled, this artic tank gurgles, is that normal? Sorry for the noob questions
Soumds like the coil is flooding out a bit due to low wattage. Try a little more power and see if that fixes the gurgling.
