Kangertech Subox Mini started smoking after putting battery wrong way

As the title says, when I first put in my batteries, I put them in the wrong away. Right when I plugged the vape into my usb charger, I heard a small pop and it started slightly smoking.

I currently don't have any juice or a coil in. When I am charging it, or when I unplug it after charging, i see the battery logo which is full. But when I press the fire button to go the "homescreen", it is near empty.

Is my vape broken? I've never actually used it before

Any time you hear a Pop and then see Smoke, I would Definitely say that that Something is Broken.

It might be that just the Battery was Fried. Do you have a Vape Shop near you can take the Mod to so they could take a Look at it?

If you haven't done so Already, I would Take the Battery Out of the Mod.
And Do Not Try to Charge that Battery Again. Either in the Mod. Or in an External Charger.

Welcome. Are you aware yet of how violently this type of battery explodes? Please handle with care.
