I have stayed and still only use the original Kangertech Subtanks since they came out years ago, 4 mil thru the 7 mil Subtank Plus. I stock up on the OCC 0.5 ohm and SSOCC 0.5 ohm SUS316L coils. Question; I'm looking for other tanks that the kangertech coil threads will fit. Thank you
The Kanger Subtank, Toptank and Protank 4 are the only ones I'm aware of. Anyvape Cerotank and Peakomizer were also compatible but I don't think they've been available for some time. Good luck on your hunt!

The Wotofo Serpent Sub Tank / Sub Tank Mini uses either Kanger OCC/SSOCC Coils or the Kanger STM RBA Section. But I haven't seen a one In Stock in Years.

Do you have any of the RBA Sections that came with your Subtanks?

In addition to the ones already mentioned, these tanks will take the SSOCC subtank coils, but not necessarily the square OCC coils or the RBA section.

    EHPro Morph (with OCC adapter)
    Smoant Talos V1
Vicious Ant Kraken v2 (get ready to pay more than a clearomizer is worth if you find it)

Are you looking for compatible tanks because you cant find the Kanger Subtanks? If so, you can put a wanted ad in the classifieds.

Yes many, I've saved everything that came with the tanks I've purchased thru the years. I only buy pre made kanger coils.

I have many and even found some new Kanger 7ml ones last spring. My everyday at home I use the 7 ml plus but in car or out I use the 4 ml. I've just noticed juice taste a little better in the smaller tanks than the big. Looking for maybe a 5 ml tank to try. Thinking more on it I might have tap somewhere with the kangertech coil threads. if I remember right the tap might be for where the tank fits the mod?? getting old, lol

That's Good you have the RBA Sections that came with those Tanks. Hang onto them. Because as we move forward, it may become Increasingly Difficult to find Coils Heads.

With a Spool of Wire, a Bag of Cotton Pads, and those RBA Sections, you would be set for Years, if not Decades. And Never be at the mercy of Running Out of Coil Heads.

BTW - Having some replacement Glass and Seals for those Tanks Isn't a bad idea either.

Kanger SSOCC and OCC coil threads are 510 threaded. You can verify this by taking any 510 tank's 510 connection and thread it into where you coil goes on your subtanks. It screws in perfectly. Same as many older aspire tanks, all 510 threaded coil heads.

The likely reason you're getting better flavor from your smaller subtanks over the 7ml subtank is likely because the chimney on the 7ml is probably longer.

Wow! Where did you find them?

My everyday at home I use the 7 ml plus

There were two 7ml Kanger tanks. The original where you had to remove two screws on top and replace it with another top to run the RBA section. Then the later one where you didn't and it didn't even have screws on top. Which 7ml tanks do you have?

I haven't vaped any of my Kanger tanks in like 5 years. I should try them once again to be honest.

I only have one with the screws on top. I use 5 in daily use, have 4 new in box. The new ones I got were the last in old stock. I think it was last Feb or March when I found the new ones, I looked for more but no luck, glad I found what I did.

Wow thanks bunches, pretty sure I have a tap stuff. I used my old box mods till the 510's wore out. Old Hana type days :)

One possibility to get more tanks is to place a wanted ad in the classifieds. Many vapers have the older equipment sitting around and are happy to part with it.
Once you find your sweet spot, it doesn't matter how long ago it came out!

Thanks, I have plenty after searching and finding 4 old stock 7m last spring. Only thing is finding glass but I'm pretty darn careful with them, :)

Thanks, at one time I was looking for the old "Hana" type box mods but I have moved to kbox 150/200. I also looked for the old Cloupor+ mini. Yes I should do that.

What are you going to tap? If your plan is to modify a tank to take the subtank coils, you won't likely be able to do that because all other tanks of this class take coil heads with wider thread bores than 510. And that's just one of the problems. Then you have the length and width of chimney and other issues to contend with.

I wondered what might be the difference and could never figure it out. Thanks

Slightly off-topic but if any of you have some of the v2/v3 single or dual-slot higher airflow bases, for ST or STM, I'd be interested. Even if I have to induce you to part with the whole tank/s. Have quite an assortment but always short bases. I use these for new vapers whenever I have a couple available (try not to start folks without a backup).

Unfortunately, these devices will always be limited by the head's limited small pin air holes. I generally drill them out and polish. Output of the original (square) prebuilt coils with it's slotted air inlets allows for a big improvement in both flavor and vol, depending on build.

The Achilles Heel here are the insulators. Those I'm always looking for.

Very interesting convo on compatible alt's.

    Good luck. :)
