When I first got my aero tank it got problems with it as we'll....it was leaking as fast as I can fill the tank. after changing the wick it's working fine..
Thanks for the replies. Good to know I'm not the only one. Been scavenging the forum and haven't found any solution.

Btw Ashol91, you mentioned changing the wick, how did you go about doing that? I was under the impression that the coil is not rebuildable..

need more details before i am able to provide help. where exactly is it leaking from, the airhole at the bottom or directly from the tank?

If it's from the airhole, chances are the wick is not packed tightly enough and the juices are saturating the coil area. if it's from the tank, remove the tank and unscrew the top and bottom metal pieces. ensure the o-ring is fitted snugly and does not show sign of wear.

the coil head is rebuildable (certain models), do not throw them away! i've found that 28 and 32 gauge kanthal works fine for rebuilding the coils.

The leak is at the air hole. I thought it was because of the coil as well. So I changed it. The last time I changed it worked perfectly. This time around its still leaking.

I, love Kanger tanks. I, guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I've never had any gurgling or leaky tanks except for the Unitank. A friend spotted them in my vape box and wanted to try them. Sure, you can have both of them. He brings them back a few days later and says "Now, I see why you gave them to me." They are back in the box where they'll stay.

If the problem is the lack of wick, how do I rectify it?

When gurgling or leaks happened it's one of 3 things

1. Need flavor wick
2. Drawing/ sucking too hard from the drip tip
3. Try increase the voltage

Alternatively, based on my experience with mini PT, I had increased the Air hole on the mini PT to 2mm (3 holes)

For PT, change the base to aerotank base as it came with 3 controllable air holes (usually I fully opened up all as I feel the draw is smoother and airy)

Next, dump all the original coil(ha ha! Original coil sucks big time) open up the Atomiser, remove the top you will see the original coil. Pull out all the coils ( check youtube how to coil PT Atomiser)

After my experimenting with all my PTs and uses different coiling method, I realised the only method is consider good for me is recoiling with Nr-r-Nr (each strand abt 1.5ohm). Using 2 of Nr-r-Nr 1.5ohm, parallel coil around a 18g needle will give you around 0.8-0.9ohm. Check resistance via a ohm meter and if there is no shorts, mount it on the mod and give a short and fast dry burnt and prime the coil (becareful, patience is required, fast hands might damaged the coil)

Roll up the cotton as wick, insert into the coil and make sure it is firm fit not too loose or too tight. Add a juice wick on top, trimmed both ends and saturate the wick with juices and filled up your tank. Reassemble all and mount it on your mod. Give a fast double draw and do not fire it first, allow it to sit for about a minute or 2.

Unitank. PT or evod the coils are the same, I don't use a unitank so I won't know if it fits by looking at the atomiser, it might be same.

Btw, filling from top might also cause leaking the air holes need to be closed while filling from top.

You might want to change to PT or mini PTit is small and good tank.
