With bats removed from the mod, remove the switch assembly by unscrewing the three hex screws. test fit your 21700 batteries with the correct polarity to see where the binding starts, and begin sanding from the binding point toward the switch end. Most of your sanding effort will focus at the switch end as this is where the most metal will need to be removed. Work a little at a time, checking fit with your battery after every couple of minutes of Dremeling to see if it seats. Once you’re comfortable with the battery fit, thoroughly clean and reassemble.
Some of you may be like “Thanks Captain Obvious”. However, others may not be as DIY inclined, and may benefit from a gentile nudge. My point here is that it’s a really easy fix, and if you really want those Golisi 21700’s in your TAC, you’re gonna have to remove some metal, and that can be a scary thing with a new mod.
I would add that after performing the minimal required metal removal, your 20700’s will still fit nice and produce no battery rattle.
Have no fear. It’s an easy fix.
I should add, Squid Industries has stated they will continue to honor any warrenty should you decide to perform this corrective measure.

I have not had any problems with mine, and I should have another DBL barrel on Saturday, but that warranty and all sales are final, is not the kind of customer service, I expect from am American company.
