Yes, the batts eventually do drain down. My GAWD, I had to change mine like TWICE since last December......

A band, I stand humbled and honored. Well, these batteries do seen to last and last. (...... for vaping? Opps, hope Retired1 doesn't see that.)

I like the Prime. Bronze got me on them and they are great.
[Do these batteries ever run out, perhaps kind of kind of like "cold fusion" power for ever.]

I really like the prime also, excellent on the DBL Barrel.
I think I am using a roughly 2.0 OHM coil, at around 8 or 9 Watts. With my brown LG's and with my Samsung 25r's, I go around 5 or 6 days before charging, so I only have to charge once a week. It is awesome.

I don't remember anyone mentioning Peak Vapor as a potential vendor for Squid but they are really good. I ordered a DB 2.1, received it in a couple of days. I tried a couple of sets batteries (not a fan of the battery cover) and could not get it to fire up, nothing just a totally black screen. Fired an email off to Peak explaining my issues and that as a last resort I was charging up a third set of batteries and I would keep them informed to the status of the mod. First thing the next morning I got a response from Trent @ Peak telling me a replacement was on the way along with a prepaid return label. He also included the tracking number. As luck would have it the third set of batteries did the trick (there is a very very remote chance that operator error was ever so slightly to blame here but it just doesn't seem likely). I got in touch with Trent just before he dropped the replacement off at the post office. He said it wasn't a problem, he would hold on to the mod for a couple of days in case I had more issues. Apparently they had held a mod back for warranty or whatever because their website said the DB was out of stock. This was my first purchase from Peak Vapor but with service like that I plan on using them again.

If anyone is looking for the DBL barrel, there is a listing on E-bay for all 3 colors for $67.19, that is a good price. I personally have not used E-bay for anything, but I like to look at stuff I cant afford.

I know a couple members have found reputable dealers on ebay (some shops/online vendors have Ebay stores as well), but I have heard too many Ebay horror stories. Makes me quite hesitant to order. Although, I’ve never heard of a DB clone... Price sounds too good to be good, if you know what I mean

Yeah I know, I think that squid does give a bulk price discount, I think I read that on his site. So these guys are buying them in quantity, then turning around and selling them on E-bay. That is what I think is happening.
I don't think the Squid has been cloned, most likely because of the tiny board that is in them.

Been eBay'in since 99. Over 1000 purchases and 100 Sales. Been "bit" only twice. Valentine One Radar Detector (a "too Good to be True" situation) in 2002 and then a Fitbit Ionic for the Wife 2 months ago (another "too Good" deal). Both times the Cash was paid back to me by Paypal/eBay in the end. No harm-No foul,,,, 2 out of 1000. I LOVE them Odds

But, DB's (multiple Units not a single individual sale) for $68 ????
Possibility is legit.
Probability it ain't (all things considered).

I'm only on page 16, but I followed you guys over here from the Game Changer thread (which by the way, you guys are a bunch of enablers!!! LOL)

I took a bit of a 3 year hiatus from my last attempt at vaping to stopping smoking. So I'm back in, and....ooooh, look! shiny!!!.....where was I? Oh yes, I'm back, and currently vaping with a couple Sinuous P80's, but have a couple (three) new mods also on the way, as well as tanks, etc. Right now I'm enjoying the Zenith's on top of the P80's.

But I digress - I really want to get the Squiddy, but....no one seems to have them in stock, except the manufacturer - but only as a kit, and I don't really want to buy the kit. Who has these in stock?

And one final question - that is completely off topic - DP and Kat - did you guys meet here on ECF? I love all your threads and have been wondering! LOL - feel free to PM me, and tell me to shut up if I'm being inappropriate in asking!
