Maybe i found something for my problem.
The smaller electrode stands out of the teflon 5mm or more.
On all pictures the electrode dont stand out of the teflon (only the screw and washer)
The Top screw does not go straight into the Top section it goes into the top with 30° angle to the large electrode.
Maybe someone before me tryed to pull the screw out or the electrodes or is this correct?
Pictures later (my iphone cant make sharp detail pictures)

best regards

Martin

edit:
Now the Top screw is almost straight to the top dont know why.
Just maked a new coil and now its straight.
Im still very unhappy with the switch tried the reserve screw but same issue.
Everey time i will lock the switch the screw comes out and i have the whole thing in my hand and have to reassemble it :(
Pictures will come when the battery of my camera is fully loaded.

edit2:
Now i have pictures.

If more pictures needed just say and i make some more.

The thing about the Positive electrode is that its being pushed up when you screw in the 18350 all the way in. This forces the positive electrodes upwards. You can solve this by removing your battery and use a screwdriver to push it back down. I did that and it now sits flushed with the teflon. However, do this at your own risk. although i do not think it will affect anything. I do find that when the post is flushed i have more room to play with.

The reason this is happening is likely because the shorter tube is probably machined 2-3mm too short.

The above will probably solve the need for magnets on your 18650 when u use it on the long tube.

Now when i use the 18350 tube, I screw in the tube with the battery and button until I feel some tension and stop. it will show a few lines of threads but its fine with me as long as my post is not being pushed up and messing up my coil.

Umm, from what I read... you should NOT f*$^ with the positive battery contact, if that's what you're talking about... that's how the ob killed his... do like what mac_206 did and unscrew the tank/atty section and put the batt in from the top of the battery tube and snug it up.

I no longer have a Katana, but that is my understanding of it (I REALLY want another one... bleh)

NINJA EDIT: okay re-read it and sounds like you're talking about pushing the electrode back down from the top... been drinking and can't help but be stupid

I know about Ob's problem. he twisted the battery contact and broke the spring. :(
and yes on the edit, its just pushing it down.
Like i said before, this is a "do it at your own risk thing"

Do any of you guys have an Orion V2 and a Katana? Is the Orion a lot like the Katana?
I like the idea of a side button ....

I don't own an Orion V1.1/V2/V3 (well it's kind of a new version), but I've done a fair amount of research and have talked extensively with Mac about his, and it's fairly similar to the Katana in construction, though there are a few fundamental differences.
Major differences: the mouthpiece is built into the top cap, there is a 3rd hole and a 2nd ground post so you can run a dual coil or a "u wick", the wicks are located closer to the perimeter rather than the center, there's only 1 post running up the tank (so the tank itself is smaller, but the volume it holds is more or less equivalent to that of the katana), the tank is wider in diameter but shorter in height, the + post is spring loaded (hard to explain without a picture, but I think the gist of it is that a spring located on the + post pushes up a washer that makes contact with a nut, and your wire is locked in between the nut and washer), the inner volume of the top cap is smaller (more vapor production than the Katana), and there's an electronic switch located towards the top of the mod just below the tank (rather than a bottom mounted, mechanical button on the Katana, though the Orion V1 has a bottom mounted mechanical switch like the kat, but the posts on the stock v1 are a whole different story than either the orion v1.1-3 or kat, and are actually more akin to a cross between a genesis maxi and scubagen v3). I know there are more finessed nuances in terms of post construction, air chamber within the top cap, and size, but I think I covered most of the basic differences.

I saw his post that it was closed ... but it just keeps going, so I didn't know if he re-opened it. Folks are still saying they are sending money.
I guess I'll have to go and read every page to see if he said. How did you pay, if you don't mind me asking?

I sent the money paypal in euros. He will pm you when he's ready for you to paypal him the money.

POC was going to make a different APV next ... something inspired by a statue I think. I am keeping an eye out for it, that's for sure.
I do have 2 Katanas ....
I did put my name on the Orion list, Les made a post that he was going to keep making them. But I am WAYYYYYY down there. LOL

Hold onto your Katana Blu! Nobody knows when POC is going to start producing them again, but it's a guarantee that more Orions (ones with VV!!) will be produced.

There are 2 things that i really didn't like with the Orion V2. First, was the spring loaded positive post. It always gave me hotspots, its probably just me, sucking at making coils. Second, the mouth piece hole. It's a little bit to small for my liking, and it would build up condensation. It reminded me of my CE2 XL days, the stock drip tip on the CE2s would cause condensation, and sooner or later i was sipping it.

Remember these are just my opinions.
