So -- and this is purely hypothetical :) -- say someone were foolish enough to have an unfortunate accident regarding the polycarbonate tank on a hybrid mini... Anyone know of a U.S. supplier that would stock this tubing? It appears to be a 16mm ID, 20mm OD. 5/8" ID is a bit too small, and it seems most of the American vendors are sticking firmly to their imperial unit guns on this one. I see a couple of vendors in Europe, but none with which I'm familiar, and I imagine shipping in the units in which they're selling it would be a beast for shipping.

You can get this size tubing from lab supply companies in the US. They typically will have lexan test tubes in this size, the you can cut them to size.

I bought a meter of the correct tubing from Australia, shipping was quite expensive (cost Triple what the item cost to ship it).

someone had the "Mini" (same line as the "LINE") crack into 4 pieces just from sitting atop a precise plus..........It's gonna get replaced when they do the next run........but I tried my hardest ordering from mcarr masters & still ended up with tubing that was juuuuuuuuuussssssssssstttttttttt a bit too tight. I beveled the ends.
Try beveling the ends.

I guess since this is the Katana thread I need to add some pics......give me a few........

Yeah, the 5/8" is the standard liquinator tube, and it is just a hair shy. So you just shaved it down a bit with e.g. a dremel?

I found this place in the U.K. with 2 meters for ~$27... they're closed until Jan. 3 to answer my inquiry about shipping. They offer to cut it to size for no additional cost. They might regret that offer when I ask for 66 30mm pieces, but assuming that they'll put a perfect edge on it, that might make it worth it. :)

Sweet :) Which supplier is it? It'd be good for future reference if needed. I'm getting a lathe/mill/drill press station so I will be making my own from cast acrylic soon but in case someone else asks in the future it would be good to know.

Hello friends and fellow owners of these croatian Genisis mods. here is a message from peaceoffcake regarding where to get spare tanks for the Hybrid Mini and the Katana. I am posting this information so that everyone who needs these can get them easily. I know this particular dimension of tube is not very easy to obtain here in the US and since this is the original supplier, we can be sure they will fit our mods. This is a direct quote from peaceoffcake and English is not his first language so please look past any grammatical errors :)

This is informational Hybrid and Katana owners on ECF and not a promotion for sales so I hope this will be helpful and that this post is not in violation of any existing rules.

spare pleksi tube for Hybrid or Katana.
I'm talk with owner of store where I was bought this pleksi tubes and
he said he can cut tubes on desired dimension and send it to users
over the world.
I don't know what price will be per tube because he sell only 2m rods.
But I ask him to do this for all of you and cut in small pieces and he
said that's ok even he don't sell international.
So, all of you need to contact him and ask to send you a pleksi tubes
OD 20mm, ID 16mm, H 30mm.
You can contact him and put link of his store on ECF.

I hope I help.

Just to follow up, I asked about shipping, and have yet to hear back. That's a little pricey IMO even before that. a 2 meter piece of the tube cut to any specified length was £5,59 ($8.67) at another place I checked, but they wouldn't ship to here. I'm going to keep looking. In the meantime, I found this hacked together solution useful. The 6ml Bottle is pretty much the perfect match on both height and diameter. Just use a razor blade to lop off the ends and be back in business.

I'll wage the tank material war elsewhere, but this material is better in that it's non-reactive with juice. It's a bit of a travesty to leave such a piece in this aesthetic condition, though. It's going to be my standin until I can find a reasonable option for acquiring the right size plexy tubes in bulk, but I am still on the hunt for somewhere that will do that in a cost effective manner.

Hrmm, that's actually the site whose price i quoted above. The US site has everything in inches, and the EU site has everything in millimeters. However, on the EU site, they claim:

plexiglas-shop.com said:
plexiglas-shop.com currently only sells and delivers to those countries selectable in the order process.

And USA isn't one of them. :(

I have no idea whatever happened to the seller of these devices and where to get these but am chiming in to say that these look to be the most awesome vapes I have ever seen! I have been researching mods for 50 hours straight now as I search for whats the first mod to invest in, and am sad to see that most mods are focusing on just the battery part. I want a mod thats designed with a tank, and so far only found the Katana and the GG + UFS to be the only ones that met my specs. However both are now unavailable :( Awesome pictures though. All of em! Have been drooling all over my keyboard staring at these since the last 20 mins :D

I guess the search continues.

There is also The Zenesis - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...45748-house-hybrids-featuring-zenesis-pv.html

The GG UFS has been replaced by Odysseus - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/gg/238074-odysseus-official.html
