i used murfey's specs with a digital calipar and this is what i got 3/8 x 1/8 x1/8
k&j magnets part#R622 and R622cs-n let me know if you understood me i tend to ramble on without periods and commas so it doesn't make sense sometime and what i am thinking about doesn't come out on the page

that post makes the most sense so far. I have a little adhd issue and when things are jumbled, I tend to not be able to read them well. thanks!.

how many did you order?

you are not planning on using glue?

the ob if you are not sure if you want to wait when i get some and my katana i will sent you a set, by the way do you have your katana already

I do have it.

I did buy some magnets today that were bigger than the ones he used. I thought I would just set them in there. I had to loosen the screw to make it work, but it did. Just not as permanent as I would have liked. I did not want to keep messing with the screw.

no no glue i rather let the magnets do there job even if i have to order other magnets i don't want to have to call poc for a new switch specially after the 3rd batch he's taking a 2 to 3 month vacation if it doesn't work i could put the spring back and use again till something better comes up and you know it always does

Boiling, definitely. Torch and quench in water 5X then heat once more till dry, drip a coule drops of vg or pg on the wick and light on fire with torch. Let it burn itself out, repeat 5x.

That's how I do it anyway. Many people do not bother with the heat/quench in water, but it is how I have always done it and it works best for me. Leaving that part out is a shortcut to remove the heat/quench cycle, but to me it helps alot because it builds the hard layer of oxidation due to annealing and tempering the steel first before building the soft "sooty" layer that the juice leaves when it burns off. This in turn shortens the break-in cycle before he coils settles in.

That's my :2c:, YMMV :)
