@Bea-FL Heads up...I sent you a friend request on Facebook. Thanks for the link to Maggie's World. I'm so enjoying that!

I kerp telling Maggie's mom she should put it all in a book. She's a published writer!

Ok I'll go over. Also heads up …I only visit the FB page every few days…certainly not as often as here, lol.

I saw the predator warning. If the base case is metal, JB weld would likely seat it nicely. If that's a plastic section, the loctite plastic bonding system I got from hd to set a magnet would likely do the trick; it seems to be holding nicely in the SDNA, after scuffing the magnet just a little.

I just realized I had a dumb luck item with my new Avocado 24. When it's screwed in firmly on the mech pro one wick hole is near the fire button, the other near the other narrow side; it really does naturally keep it wet when you vape. My old Av 24 is 90 degrees offset to that.

I'll take dumb luck any time! [emoji3]

I won that Predator from the HG contest. I am just avoiding RDAs on that lil' debbil. So far, it's been quite lurvely :)

One batch of Chi Chi's Corn Cake in the oven; Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding finishing in the crock pot.... I'm ready for the "Last Supper" at our church tomorrow. We hand over the keys to the new congregation tomorrow. Our congregation will meet elsewhere, until we can find a more permanent location.

batteries all recharged. Sipping on a Killer Kustard Klone I found on that "DIY for Dummies" site @Kodak had pointed a bunch of us to. Truthfully, there's another custard called Anvil that I enjoy more. I could darn near drink that stuff  Surprisingly, running that in the Velocity at 60W was MIGHTY tasty! VERY rich..... Better than in an RTA (maybe because I've let it sit for almost a month?) I was going to make a 120mL batch, but I don't have enough components (darn, now I need to place an order :sneaky: )

Hoping all are having a great weekend!

That chocolate chip bread pudding sounds interesting. Mind sharing the recipe? I made chocolate cake in a mug today. That was good too.

6 C French Bread Cubes (one loaf from the bakery - I use Italian; I like that texture a bit better)
1 pkg (6 oz) white chocolate baking bar, coarsely chopped (I use various combinations of chocolate chips - today was mini semi-sweet and caramel nuggets :w00t: )
4 eggs
3/4 C warm watter
1 tsp vanilla
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

Spray inside of a 3- to 4-qt slow cooker (I use crock pot liners - GODSENDS!)
Mix eggs, water, vanilla, and condensed milk
Sprinkle chocolate over bread, pour mixture and stir - let this sit for a bit to allow the liquid to soak into the bread - like French Toast
Pour into slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 3.5-4 hours or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm.

I saw a recipe for a chocolate chip cookie in a cup today on FB. Love that kind of stuff!

Bread Pudding with chocolate chips? Blasphemy!

What-evs!!!!! I don't like raisins all that much ;) Last Sunday, one of the young men barreled up to me after church and asked if I'd bring that for tomorrow's dinner. It was a hit a couple years ago :)

Thanks for sharing the recipe. I will sub regular chocolate for the white when I make this tonight though…not a fan of white.

And here is the Chocolate in a mug recipe from Pioneer Woman. I use that whenever we want some desert…neither of us are big on desert but sometimes it's the only thing that will do .

Chocolate Cake in a Mug
Prep: 3 Minutes Level: Easy
Cook: 1 Minutes Serves: 2
Ingredients
  • 3 Tablespoons All-purpose Flour
  • 3 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • Tiny Pinch Of Salt
  • 3 Tablespoons Whole Milk
  • 3 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • Splash Of Vanilla Extract
  • 3 Tablespoons Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Preparation
Into a 12-ounce microwave-safe mug, add the flower, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir with a fork. Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla and stir until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips. Use a damp paper towel to wipe excess off the sides of the mug.

Microwave for 90 seconds, then let the cake stand for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes before eating. Serve with sweetened whipped cream or vanilla ice cream!

Edit: I copy/pasted the recipe from her web site and I just noticed how flour is spelled, heehee!!!

BTW most of the time I don't have chips handy so I add about 1 teaspoon extra cocoa powder.
