I forgot about the liners,but i did make the bread pudding today,that stuff is good,there will be plenty more made haha.I think my wife would like the chocolate chip version,so may make that one for her some day,or just give her the recipe and let her make it since i won't eat that one anyway,but for now,it's white chocolate for the win haha.Get crock pot liners!!!!!!! One of our cats that disappeared about six months ago just showed up on our porch. We are feeding him, and hoping he stays around.
We let them go in and out as they please, we installed doggie doors. He left one day about six months ago and we hadn't seen him.

We've had a few do that,but never for that long.I think the longest one of ours was gone was about a month.In your case,being gone that long,it sounds like someone was keeping him in their house and he managed to escape.
I thought the same thing, but he's skinny and kinda skittish, so maybe he has just been "roaming".
I have one that's totally outdoors that disappeared last fall for about 3 months. He's pretty old so I just assumed that he'd gone off to die. He showed up on the door step one morning and hasn't left since. He was still fat so maybe he had been staying at the neighbor's or somewhere in the neighborhood.
We figured the doggy doors would be a good idea, and for the most part they are, until they bring us "gifts".

@DingerCPA OMFG!!! I tried that bread pudding recipe (OK, more like eating it now, still nice and warm) and it is to die for!!! Don't tell my new son-in-law, but this is better than what he makes!
We have 1 now that has been gone almost a month,and i fear that too.He had wandered off a few times before,but always came back within a week,except for this time.Although,i also think maybe he just moved on,because there is another big tom cat in our neighborhood that would constantly pick on my cat.He would be asleep on my back porch,and this other cat would come up on the porch and attack him while he was sleeping.I'm glad he's still alive, I thought maybe something had killed him.

I'm glad y'all like the bread pudding. Super easy, and insanely delicious I like to play with different flavors - chocolate & peanut butter or butterscotch chips. Today was little caramel nuggets. The base is basically the same - flavor it the way you like!

Have you tried turning him into an indoor cat? Often cats who went through what yours did are willing to turn into indoor cats when they find their way back.
So I come home tonight to the most wonderful smelling package waiting for me...thanks @markfm Can't wait to have some tomorrow morning! I love getting coffee-mail!
I've been so busy with work and just life in general, haven't had much time to get to all my threads on here...hoping things will slow down after this coming weekend when my son graduates from college (I can't believe it's been 4 years already...where did that time go
) and things can get back to normal...whatever that is.
