Hai Guyz 'n' Galz.....

Home and in comfy clothes. Having a Mommy Drink (or two or three :D )

@Kaezziel - I'm diggin' that sigelei. I thought I had limited my "what's left to get" list :sneaky: Unfortunately, two of the three I'm eyeballin' are pre-orders :(

Pulled out my Estoc tank today - my Serps were in various stages of rewicking, and I just wanted something QUICK to get out the door this morning. I know you weren't real psyched with this tank, but I'm enjoying it today :)

SO has been sleeping most of the day :( The weather really wreaks havoc on her. I think this is gonna be the time to clean my Vape Cave. It is a DISASTER (but I know where "most" things are....)

Wishing you all peace

Yeah, it didn't take me long to change my mind from the Fuchai Plus to the Duo-3. I've never really had any interest in 3-batt mods, but I'm really diggin' the look of this one! Hopefully the preorder date passes quickly! :D

Glad you're enjoying the Estoc. :) It wasn't bad (those ceramic coils always put out good flavor), there was just something about it that didn't quite ring my bells... I'm still running the Crown III right now for the same reason that you broke out the Estoc. Easy-peasy quick and simple vaping... :p

Ooohhh! Aahhhh! Love that red!

Sent from my LG-V700 using Tapatalk

Yep, I'm leaning towards the red, even if FT manages to get all of the other colors, too! :D

Keep that up & the Reverend Mother will rat you out to the Fremen.

Sent from my LG-V700 using Tapatalk

LOL!!! Bring it! I've got an army of cylons that'll take care of them! :p

That Fuchai Duo 3 sure is purdy... but I'll be dipped, if Sigelei ever sees another dime of my money.

I never really followed all of the drama that was circling Sigelei, other than the "the mod won't hit the wattage they claimed it would" stuff. And that never really mattered to me. I have yet to get anywhere near the max wattage settings. I have been thoroughly impressed with the Fuchai, though... I've been abusing it since the day I got it, and it's still hanging in there with no issues. :)

I've had 2 Realux's,sold the first one because it was the 3 battery only version and it was just too heavy, but after only 2 weeks of occasional use,the 510 was getting wobbly in that one.I bought the 2/3 off the classifieds here,i figured i may like it with just the 2 batteries, which i do,but i realized pretty fast they have never fixed that 510 issue, even through all the new versions they have came out with.A few weeks ago,a coworker told me about a local shop blowing out the Dna 200 version of the Releaux for $60 which is a steal compared to most places, but i won't spend any more money on those mods knowing they have never resolved the issue.
On the Sigelei's,i agree, they hold up very well.My original Fuchai was the one that took a flying leap out of my hand from about 4 feet off the ground, flew a ways, then slammed on the concrete floor. The only damage was a cracked screen and a very small chip on the corner. The screen went black so i can't see what it says anymore, but that thing still works perfectly.

Yep, that's one of the reasons that I haven't gotten any of them. Well... that and I just don't really dig the looks of 'em. This Fuchai, though... yeah. Damn consistent vape, and it just don't quit. The Duo-3 should be every bit as good!

So I come home tonight to the most wonderful smelling package waiting for me...thanks @markfm Can't wait to have some tomorrow morning! I love getting coffee-mail! :D

I've been so busy with work and just life in general, haven't had much time to get to all my threads on here...hoping things will slow down after this coming weekend when my son graduates from college (I can't believe it's been 4 years already...where did that time go:blink:) and things can get back to normal...whatever that is. ;)

Hope everyone is doing well.:)

Angel!! Good to see ya, Darlin'! Take your time and enjoy the life stuff... those are the things that really matter in this life. We'll see ya once things calm down a bit. :)

Congrats to both you and @Kodak on the upcoming graduations!! I can't imagine how exciting that all must be as a parent!!:wub:

@Kaezziel good morning. How is DB?

G'morning, Miss Bea! She is doing well, thank you for asking. We're still waiting on appointments to get the ball rolling again. Something is scheduled for Wednesday next week. We're not sure if that is the day of the actual Gamma Knife procedure, or if that will be day one and that the procedure will be done on Thursday. For now, she's just trying to rest and hold on to her strength. Fortunately, at least it seems that the latest adjustments to her pain meds are actually helping a bit. :)

@Kaezziel that's good new about DB! Good luck with the upcoming procedures. Now, no pain involved with those right?

Shouldn't be much pain from that. It is a highly focused radiation treatment to address the little tumors that they found in her brain. The only thing that should give her any discomfort will be when they mount the halo on her head (that involves four small screws into the skull, but they'll use lidocaine where those will go), and possibly headache after the procedure is done. The halo will also be removed immediately following the procedure, so she won't have to deal with that beyond the day of the procedure. :) All in all, it should be relatively quick and painless.

Did I ever tell you at the vet clinic where I workec they called me the pain police because I always asked the techs if post surgery pets had enough pain meds on board.

Glad DB doesn't have pain from that procedure to deal with. She has enough to deal with.

Good Morninz Erryone!!!!

@Bea-FL - stay safe! I remembered some of the fires from my road-trip earlier this year.

@LynnNC - You. Needed. Rest. :pervy:

@Kaezziel - to you and DB

Relatively bizzy weekend..... Worked on laundry Saturday, and made food for yesterday's Church carry-in. Sunday - Service, lunch, final move (of more stuff than I expected  ) Got home close to 3:00 and as I opened garage door, saw Uncle Kerm walking SO toward the house. She's been really shaky and overly worn out, but wanted to be outside since it was so nice. Apparently she lost her balance on the step-down from the boardwalk to the firepit area and fell. DID NOT have her phone with her :sneaky: and couldn't get herself up. She started hollering - Uncle Kerm was out cutting grass and finally heard her. To the rescue AGAIN :) I am so praying the weather warms up a bit so she can start feeling a little better.

Oh man that sucks. :(. Have you thought about getting SO that Life Alert (i think it's called)? It would ease your mind and hers.

I've chided her about taking her phone, even down to the basement. I may have to consider some sort of alarm thingy

Bea - Stay outta the smoke! Hope the fire doesn't pose a threat to anyone near it.

Dinger -Just a thought, but it might be worth having a long talk with her about carrying the phone, she might be avoiding taking it because some part of her resents the need to feel dependent, in which case any kind of life alert type thing would also get left behind. Not saying that's it, but I know some people go through those kind of feelings.

It seems Eleaf is releasing a new Pico 25. (capable of handling a 25mm tank) Haven't looked too hard yet, but it looks like initially it will only come as a kit.

You are so right. I'm a good example. Unless my leg REALLY bothers me I refuse to use my cane.

Yeah, I think you'd mentioned that before. I've been the same way with her. I even call her from work when her pills are due to make sure that she takes them. If she misses a dose, it's hard to play "catch-up"...

Huge wildfire at the south end of Okeefenokee swamp in south GA.

We are only an hour south from there. The winds are blowing south and I can smell the smoke and it's really hazy outside. :(

Hope it all stays north of you! Stay safe, hun!!

Good morning all! :)
Having the day off yesterday was a bust as I slept all day. I don't know what was up with that but I literally could not hold my eyes open.

 I'm just glad that you had the day off and got some rest. Clearly your body knew that you needed it, so it overrode your brain and made sure that you got it! :p

:grr: She definitely needs to keep a means to get help when she needs it. DB fell down again a few weeks ago. We'd gone to Outback, I pulled into the HC parking space to get her out (no HC tags, and she was refusing to use the wheelchair). I got her out and walked her to the side of the building so that she'd have something to lean against while I parked the car. As soon as I got out of the car to start walking towards her... she fell down. Ended up getting the wheelchair out of the car and just taking her home. Not sure when/if we'll ever try that again...

Happy noon!

vapesourcing (Verashu) is running a giveaway for the new Pico kit. I tagged several of the people here, to start the ball rolling.

Looks like we'll bring in a pro to do some work jacking up the camp main house and bunkhouse, and putting in one new window in the bunkhouse (doing a siding cutout plus the window). I'm fine doing minor leveling/tweaking, adjustments given something is already in the right ballpark, but It's simpler to outsource the initial bulk lift. I've done some initial supports, a little lifting/leveling of the bunkhouse, but a contractor will do the multi-inch main lift. The contractor is someone who's probably bought a boat or two off work done for BIL (major renovations on the grounds of a beautiful lake house), came in with a very reasonable price to do our tiny job. It's a simple enough thing for a couple of his crew to do in a few days (once things finally dry up a little -- still rainy).

Here is a list of some recommended ones. I also read somewhere thst some cell phone providers offer them too.

She was more mad at herself that she didn't have her phone with her. She's probably 70% good about taking her phone with her, whether it's outside or downstairs.

Kaez, sorry your dinner plans got thwarted

SO has HC tags on her car, and I have a placard for my car. Use 'em when we need 'em. Sometimes, especially when we're in her car, we won't park in the HC spots because she does want to walk a bit more :)

Meh... Not the first time that we've had to leave before we'd even gotten in the door; I'm certain that it won't be the last. Fortunately, she wasn't hurt badly this time. Just bruised and scraped her knee a bit.

I know what you mean about the HC tags/spots. DB didn't think that she'd ever really need it, so she didn't bother asking for the temp placards at the time. And, if we need to go any real distance, I just break out the wheelchair and push her, so it doesn't much matter where we park.

It's not that the Segelei 213 had problems, and from what I've read there were plenty. It's not that Fuchai 213 won't work in TC mode for a lot of people (I'm one of those). But they announced, they had sold too many units to honor the warranty. That's why Segelei is dead to me.
